Player indicator dissapears - PS3

Hey guys

I've been having a problem with the player indicator disappearing while Im playing a game, the icon that normally sits under a player with the ball (controlled by user) just stops working. The game keeps playing but you cant tell who you are. Has anyone else had this problem or is there a solution?

It happens in the Xbox 360 version as well, as far as I can see it happens when you enter the pause menu to make substitutions rather than using the D-Pad controls. It's one of the issues we've reported to EA Sports but there's been no word on an update as yet.

ok, cool, thanks for that, I will avoid using the pause button to make subs from now on. Bit of a pain but cant be helped!

Agreed. I like the quick subs feature but there are times when you need to pause the game to make adjustments to your lineup so it's frustrating.

on the ps3, making subs on the fly is impossible. the buttons are fairly unresponsive so it takes forever... plus, the menu disappears before you can even select the guy you want. and it's also rather inconvenient that you can't do em during free throws when play is stopped. i hope they fix it for 09.
