Part 3 was hilarious...these last 3 episodes have been pretty funny. Shame there are only 2 episodes left in this season.

Well, according to Episode III they're all real.

I thought Episode III was perhaps the strongest episode of the trilogy just as I thought the second episode was better than the first, though I have to say I'm a little disappointed that Cartman, in a way, got the last laugh. I loved the scene in the Pentagon where all the officials are going back and forth waxing philosophical getting more and more tangled until one guy finally asks if he's real and of course, another Al Gore cameo. Good stuff.

I don't understand you always hoping for Cartman to fail. I always root for Cartman's schemes to work. Those are always the most hilarious episodes.

I could not stop laughing at the last part.

Kyle: I'm not sucking his balls! That's imaginary.
Cartman: I believe you said imaginary things were real, Kyle.
Pentagon Officer: That's true you did say that.
Everyone cracks up.
Santa: Ok Kyle, I think that's enough ball sucking for now.

I just think it's gotten a bit old, as I've said I preferred Cartman when he was a little less successful in his schemes. That's what I liked about "Cartman Sucks" earlier this year; instead of making it another Cartman vs Kyle confrontation, they had Cartman scheming and scheming only to have it blow up in his face while Kyle just ignored him and gave him a bored "See, I told you so" look at the end. I guess I'm just a little over the formula.

Guitar Queer-o had some great moments, in particular Randy's skillful guitar playing being dismissed in favour of Guitar Hero, Heroin Hero/Rehab Hero, the driving game parodying the stereotypcal trouble character driving (then coming to a revelation) scene and the outcome of breaking one million points.

Was "The List" possibly the last South Park episode ever? The ending made it seem somewhat likely, though it would be a shame to go out on such a comparably weak episode. But the fact that Kenny once again died, and Stan went back to his puking on Wendy, well, I'm not sure if there'll be another.

Not unless they intend to back out of the contract they recently signed to stay on the air for four more years.

Seriously? Last I heard (and admittedly I don't follow these things too closely) this was to be the last season. But I can get behind 4 more years.

4 more years!

The south park crew has at least 4 more years. You think the last episode isnt going to be an epic event? Its the only reason Comedy Central is still alive (before colbert and daily show started becoming popular they were on thin ice with every show they had but south park). However; this season has been fanfuckingtastic. I'm going to make a poll to ask if that sparkles with everyone.... The episodes that have the kids being kids, but also freaking out and pulling guns on each other are always priceless to me because of the sheer absurdity. Remember Marjorine? great episode. South Park at the end of the show sorta said "ok so the show's different than what it used to be, but we're still gonna have stan puke on wendy. Its just gonna look different" proving that at the end of it all, Trey and Matt arent ever gonna leave what created them: dick, fart, and puke jokes.

That was a really cool episode, the "ugly" kids were pretty fucking hilarious.
And well, Kenny got what he (apparently) deserved once again...

I've really enjoyed the last two episodes for that very reason. It's nice to have something epic and a bit different like the Imaginationland trilogy and other similar episodes but I feel the strongest episodes take fairly mundane kid's stuff and put a zany twist on it. I'm glad you brought up the Marjorine episode as that's a great example of them doing that. Having Stan puke on Wendy - in greater volume and detail than ever before, no less - was a great callback to the early standard. I'd say everyone saw it coming, but the way they did it was still hilarious.

Same situation , no cable here either...4spark.com usually has them the day after it's shown on tv.

Thanks man, I usually never miss one but I just moved and I don't have the cable yet. Well, I don't really need it overall, but I do need to see some new South Park!

It was a little predictable, it was pretty obvious what Cartman was going to do once he swore revenge on Kyle but a good episode nevertheless. I probably didn't find the Jimmy Buffett shots as funny as other people would have because I'm a fan; I thought that part was a bit Family Guy-esque, actually. I'm glad they avoided having Cartman cover up what he did to Kyle and turn everyone against him as that's getting a bit stale now. The whole anti-"very special episode" approach was much funnier.

I didn't think it was that funny, or even good, at all. But South Park usually has slow starts.

predictable sure, hell even the cop out at the end i knew was coming....i think the parts they had me dying were the arguments "this is not funny! AIDS IS NOT FUNNY" You know someone in the writer's room tried to convince them of that....

I'm a fan of Jimmy Buffett also but i will admit he's not a paragon of musical achievement, he has a few catchy songs that people know. So i was OK with the potshots...

It was apt in that sense, a benefit featuring Elton John would definitely be a bigger draw than one with Jimmy Buffett. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I'm going to stop watching South Park over it but being a fan I didn't enjoy them as someone who dislikes him no doubt would have.

I dont even know who jimmy buffet is but this episode is your typical south park stuff....amusing at best. They need to change up the forumla a bit sometimes....they take little things are turn them into a hollywood blockbuster movie knock off every other episode.
