Correct Regular Season for 08 (updated with version 1.3)

I have corrected the regular season database file. I might still have an error or two, but I haven't come across one yet.

Just place the scheduleseason.dbf in your current or original database folders. Should rename the existing file before you replace it with this one.

What the problem with "original" Schedule?

well, if you're sensitive about the dynasty stuffs, and you want the games schedule to be realistic (like what is really scheduled in real nba), then you want to download that.

ea has somehow messed up the schedules.

I found some duplicate records and a few games out of place due to the ID numbering in the database. Here's the corrected version.

Here is version 1.3 of this patch. I finally got the games in the proper order and on the correct dates. I'll have one more update coming. That one will have the correct times of the games as well as the correct dates for the regular season.

thanks man...but there are a few small mistakes I found still on here. For the rockets, the game @ Atlanta is really on March 12 instead of March 28, and for the Heat, the game @Orlando is really on January 30 instead of Jan 27.

These don't really make that big of a difference, I just thought that I'd point them out if you were going to do another version

I did a spreadsheet comparison and looked at each teams schedule as it showed up in the game. I think 1.3 is correct as far as dates are concerned, but the actual game times are still off on some games. That's what I'm currently working on.

i downloaded 1.3 again and tried it, and it was the same as before....maybe you should try it in the game

I'm not sure what to say. I just downloaded the file, placed in my Original and current db folders and ran the game. The two games you mentioned were correct. They showed up and were playable on the correct dates.

For aleth47, the database seems to be the same for 07 and 08, but I haven't had the chance to test out yet if simply using the file in 07 will work or not. I'll give it a try and see.
