RAPPERS PATCH FOR 08

Allright last year i incorporated it in my 07 version of soon to be released ALLTIME ALLSTARS FANTASY ROSTER...

the idea is to make the art so that anybody can include it in their own roster as they wish ... so i thought i d make a thread so every patcher who wants to contribute to the art making process (cyberfaces, jerseys, logos, courts) can do it here...

Rsox released his patch in 05, sadly, he has retired from patching but i believe a few people worked on it too...
i hope everybody can get back contributing ... or grant their permission for their previous work to be used (as he kindly did)...

ill soon be posting the list and cyberface shots of his patch , that i had converted for 07 that will work on 08
some have color issues...some ebo... updates of done one are welcomed...

For Fat Joe or Big Pun, We need some FAT ebo faces or bodies (not sure its possible for the body)...so talented ebo tweakers will be needed...

ALSO people can list whose cyberface they would like to see be made...
so people who dont patch can come up with their roster propositions ...

Last year i did East n West , but this year a South team could be added...
As u can see some south guys are in the west team... and the west is missing a lot of its legends , as is the east...
Since Im not big fan of South rap suggestions will be welcomed...
So maybe if we have enough input... 4 teams could be made 1 NY , 1 NY OLDSCHOOL, 1 South , 1 West ...whatever...

I wont be able to do this alone, because i suck in cyberface making...
so i hope the talented guys come foward so that roster makers can incorporate it

Lets keep LIVE PC better than NEXT GEN with our patching...

btw, small tip. if you wanted, you may leave their name fields empty (via .dbf editor), so then only their surname (that is nickname) would appear

there is no fat guy previews because all i have for fat head ebo is glenn's barkley ebo lol so right now even biggie doesnt work

thats why we need a really fat head style ebo
and eventually body if its possible

im a big fan of hip hop...cant wait for this!

i just finished putting all existing players in the 2 teams like last year.

IceCold: Yes exactly i thought of making the south team in ATL but the thing is i dont know who else should be on that roster since im not a big south head..so once again suggestions with best suitable face pic are needed...

If enough nice pics are found and cyberface makers interested, we can make a early 90s olschool team mixing east and west ... maybe borough teams , whatever...depending on the input..


faces id like to see be made :kool g rap, big daddy kane, Lord Finesse, Big L , Big Pun, Papoose, Canibus, kid frost, slick rick, chuck d, krs-1, scarface, easy e , too short, LL , EPMD, Redman, Methodman, RZA...ect

everybody should fill in some gaps with their favorites... and the end we can decide how many teams we can come up with

i can take care of roster n portraits but also can afford some help on it if proposed...

The more the better so everybody can make their own selections according to their likes and dislikes...

In this thread we should focus the discussion on team roster selection in order for the cyberface makers to make the art files ... because player ratings is not what's holding me from releasing the patch, so lets try to keep this thread simple to use for people who are gonna help on it...and try not get in to the who is better than who debate...

So for the ratings of players ill be using they can be discussed the ALLTIME ALLSTARS thread

For most rappers i used almost their actual sizes when i found it...sometimes adapting it to fit the player position cuz after all they must be able to compete with the others superstar teams in the roster

since live 05 , i believe there have been several attemps to make this patch...if everybody can put some work in ... im sure we can do it...Thanks to all who have answered and who will in the future...

my opinion! the roster is shit but the faces and portraits are nice
its not funny to play with teams where the guys all have 99^^

who probably didnt read my last post...Whether u like the roster ratings is not an issue...in other words: nobody gives a shit...a french saying goes "critique is easy , art a bit less..."
i encourage u to make your own roster...

My rosters, if u checked my other thread, have all nba legends and todays stars more or less pretty much boosted...its allstar game action oriented for online play : trust me the gameplay and game statistics is more real than your real roster even playing against CPU because the PG passes to more than one star so passing and points distribution is pretty much solved...

People who dont understand my way of making rosters dont need to ... they can do it their way...For now this is the way i do it for my main project, if we get the same kind of input from people as for the 05 Patch... i will be making the roster with more REAL ratings for it to be released individually or maybe included in a major actual roster that somebody else does and might want as bonus...

and in case i didnt do enough justifying and explaining on why i got 99 overall ?
cuz all players have high ratings in some skills, some stealing some bloking some shootting ...whatever...
and if i had made a classic style ratings roster with 1 superstar...
this thread would have turned into the "WHO'S YOUR FAVORITE RAPPER" thread... as it has almost already begun to be...

I posted those 07 roster jpegs so people should argue on whose faces they d like to see be made not if The Game should have better FG% than Tupac...

Patchers need input and encouragement

So for the last time (hopefully) the ratings issues should be considered (by whoever wants to make a roster) once we have the necessary input to make a nice updated patch with new faces...

And people who post for the sake of posting... hopefully they can look for another thread ...
in other words , encouragements and opinions are welcomed BUT artistic help and roster input (not on ratings ) IS NEEDED.
