Hey guys, thanks for all the support..

I've been really, really busy in the last couple of weeks, but now I'm kinda better and I'll start to really work on this dynasty..

BTW, I decided to play pre-season games in NBA Live 08, since I saw the spectacular patches, that all guys are doing!

The Miami Heat started their pre-season with a loss against their rivals Orlando Magic.
The Wade-less Heat ended the first quarter with a seven point deficit, which mainly came because of very poor rebounding and numerous turnovers. Rashard Lewis was scoring in every possession and Heat couldn’t handle their defensive tasks. But they turned their game around in the second quarter and won it exactly by seven points to tie it before halftime. Rashard Lewis had scored 24 points in the first two quarters and this was the main task for the Heat, to stop him.
Heat couldn’t totally stop the guy in the second half, but really contained him. He scored 12 points. With Wade still not playing, neither practicing, Heat’s newcomer Ricky Davis took the leader’s role and started pulling the team. He scored 16 points in the second half, but that wasn’t enough for the Heat to pull away with a win against Magic. Even though Miami had a 8 point lead with three minutes to go, they wasted it and let Lewis nail to jumpers for the win.

Notes
Heat were outrebounded 29-40 and shot only 8.3% from downtown, making only one three-pointer.Miami unusually was perfect from the free-throw line making all of their 8 shots. Penny Hardaway marked his comeback with 2 points and steal, assist and a rebound in 12 minutes of gameplay.

Jordan™ Player of the game

RASHARD LEWIS

36 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals, 0 blocks, FG 17-31, 3pt 0-2, FT 2-3.

Kevin Garnett led all scorers with 34

Box Scores
Heat-110
Celtics-115

The Miami Heat suffer their second loss in a row, during their pre-season period. They lost against the revolutionized Bostons Celtics.
Heat who were playing without their leader Dwyane Wade showed a lot more improvement compared to last game against Orlando. They worked on the rebounding, on defense, but couldn’t execute their offense properly in the first quarter. Celtics outscored them by seven in the first period.
Miami stepped it up in the next quarter, again working on rebounding, but had a very tough time stopping Boston’s big three, especially Kevin Garnett, who scored 14 points in the second quarter. But Heat managed to execute their offense better, running it through Shaquille O’Neal and won the quarter by a single point, for a 6 point deficit, heading into the second half.
Ray Allen and Paul Pierce were doing the job for the whole team in the third quarter. Their offense was excellent and Heat could hardly do anything about it, though they answered with their own offense. Ricky Davis stepped it up for 12 of his 18 points in the third quarter. Though, Heat lost the quarter by three points and were facing a 9 point deficit entering the last quarter.
Boston wanted to finish this game early in the last period, so they managed to start it with a 7-0 run. Heat were shocked and lost control of their offense and their defense. Celtics managed to create a 20 point lead for themselves with 6 minutes to go and were heading for the win strongly. But the Jason Williams woke up his team with 8 consecutive points to narrow down the deficit to 12 points. The whole team woke-up and made a remarkable comeback. Boston’s evaporated with 1 minute and twelve second to go, but then Paul Pierce made a contested three-pointer and finished the next possession with a dunk, leaving Heat with a 5 point deficit. Miami tried to comeback once again, but their effort was worthless…

Notes
Heat outrebounded Boston 44-36. For the second straight game, they made only one three-pointer out of twelve. Miami collected only 17 assists and made 23 turnovers. Celtics’ big three combined for 94 points on 42-73 shooting.

Jordan™ Player of the game

RAY ALLEN

33 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 0 blocks, FG 14-27, 3pt 2-3, FT 3-3.

Whoa! A Pursuer dynasty! I thought I had replied to this a couple weeks ago, but the forum froze then I think...

Anyway, this looks excellent, I base my recaps roughly off of yours, except in weekly increments and without pictures. I'll definitely follow this, even if Heat suck.

B-Diddy 08,
his rebounding is wrong very wrong :D
and he should be getting at least a steal a game
:)

EDIT: Pierce is stronger faster quicker better defender and better passer in real life then he is in this game :D

The Big 3 turned out to be too much. I think you will have to make more 3s if you want to win! Good luck. Love the dynasty so far.

Ricky Davis scored 25 points to lead Heat to its first victory…

Box Scores
Heat-108
Knicks-102

The Miami Heat celebrate their first pre-season victory against New York Knicks.
After falling to Magic and Celtics in the first two pre-season games, Miami finally got its first win.
Heat looked for a strong first quarter, but Knicks were a little better in that period, winning it by 6. Stephon Marbury scored 13 points in the first quarter, showing that he’s going to be very hard to stop tonight.
Miami wasn’t able to eliminate the deficit in the 2nd, instead they managed to pull away the second quarter with a tie. Shaquille O’Neal was leading the team with 9 points, Udonis Haslem added eight in that quarter. Heat was having a bad time stopping Marbury and Randolph, they both combined for 32 points in the first half.
Ricky Davis carried his team through the third quarter, scoring 16 points and turning the 6-point deficit into a four point lead. Despite that, things weren’t looking pretty because Heat had made 20 turnovers in the first three quarters. Knicks weren’t slowing down on offense and looked ready to takeover the game in the last quarter.
New York started the 4th period with a 10-0 run bringing back their 6 point lead, but then Heat’s reserve Dorrell Wright shined. He scored all of his eleven points in the next five minutes and with the help of other guys, Knicks were facing a 4 point deficit, with a couple of minutes to go. After that Heat didn’t let go of their lead, despite Marbury’s numerous attempts to fire up his team.

Notes
Heat continue their very poor three-point shooting, this time making only 1 of 17 three-pointers. Miami made only 4 turnovers in the last quarter, while making 20 in the three before.

Jordan™ Player of the game

RICKY DAVIS

25 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, 0 blocks, FG 12-26, 3pt 1-8, FT 0-0.
