Gordon, I was sitting in section 304, so my angle of it wasn't great. It looked nasty from my angle but, I haven't seen a replay.

Joakim_Noah13- are you also a tall, slow, white, unathletic guy too like Tom Dore & Red Kerr??

i see a pattern developing here

Aaron Gray is this year's Jared Reiner

I was referring to his contract making him untradeable rather than his talent. It's no secret his offensive game is severely lacking (to put it nicely) and that's not about to change, but he remains a fine defensive player so he's not exactly complete garbage. I don't think having Frye and Przybilla would necessarily make things better, though I guess it's an interesting prospect. I highly doubt Portland would be interested in it though, especially since they'd need to throw in more players to make it work under the cap.

He surely cannot be that bad. Must have some upside for him to stick with the team instead of bouncing over to Europe.

yeah, I'd have to agree....I'd put Gray in a higher tier than Reiner as a player....

i agree that Gray is more skilled but listening to the bulls announcers raving about him and a certain faction of bulls fan excited about this guy- it all reminds me of Jared Reiner last year

every year there's a guy in camp with limited skills but good attitude/hustle players... Skiles wet dream.

and since this guy is white and tall- Dore & Red Kerr are bending over for him on every given opportunity

what exactly is Gray's "upside" anyway?

Bulls GM Paxson shoots down reports that Kobe may wind up in Chicago

Honestly, I'm glad to hear it. I'd much rather they see where the current core can go before they roll the dice and trade two or three guys, especially for someone who can opt out after a couple of years if he's unhappy with the situation.

Meanwhile, not the start to the season I was hoping for but nice to see Gordon and Deng have good games nevertheless and there's still 81 games to go. All the same, even with the way they've bounced back the last couple of years a slow start to the season ultimately comes back to haunt them when they're vying for homecourt in March and April.

Wow, AI put up a close triple-double of 22/10/6/3/3. It's just annoying I didn't pick him up using my 3rd pick of UFC.

Man, the game versus the Bucks was the worst game I have seen in years. How the hell do we lose to a team that shoots 33%!?

When Yi is rebounding like Dennis Rodman and hitting from the perimeter like Ray Allen you know you're doing something wrong. Ben (Wallace) has been terrible all year, he doesn't even look like he's trying out there. I understand he's hurting a bit but he atleast needs to jump for boards. Tyrus was amazing against Philly, unfortunetly no one else bar BG played well. Noc shot the Bulls in the foot with his crappy defence and epic chucking. The Net's game was ok, Luol actually showed up on opening night but has been MIA since, same with Kirk.

But the Bucks game.....

God damn that was hard to watch. Combine Luol's inability to get to the rim, Noc's chucking and horrid defence, Ben Wallace's no show on defence and the boards (2 rebounds...), Thabo's jumpshot looking like Joakim Noah's, Tyrus' looking lost offensively and being unable to hit a thing, Ben Gordon and Kirk Hinrich's incredibly bad shooting woes and the fact Joe Smith was easily the best player in a Bull's uniform... well you get frustration.

The only positive for me from this 0-3 start is that I'm not too worried at all. Why? Because the guys just haven't clicked yet. If the guys were playing well and we were still losing, then I'd be very worried.

Looking forward to the Clips game.

(by the way, NBALP Broadband is awesome.)

Perhaps, but I don't think Kobe's necessarily the answer. This article pretty much sums up my concerns about the Bulls making a trade for Kobe, especially with the rumoured deal that included Gordon, Deng and Thomas.

The 0-3 start is very disappointing to say the least but even the 1991 championship team started 0-3 and lesser Bulls teams in recent years with a similar group of core players have managed to rebound. They can't afford to drag their feet for too long but let's give it more than three games before we condemn the current squad to be blown up to bring Kobe to town.

Apparently Deng turned down $57 mil over five years, so I assume Gordon's offer was pretty much the same. Iguodala also turned down a similar extension recently, so perhaps it's a matter of these guys looking to try and play their way to better deals and re-evaluating the situation in a year's time, at which point I hope deals can still get done. It's slightly more promising than the initial reports of Paxson offering both $50 million over 5 years and refusing to budge which I found quite strange given he had no qualms giving Tyson Chandler a ridiculous contract or giving an aging Ben Wallace $60 million over four years.

What's happened to Noah?
Is he injured? Didn't he crack the rotation?

It really isn't hard to find things like this out on your own you know. Just google his name and you'd find out in 3 seconds.

He hurt his ankle during pre-season, missed the first 3 games and is expected to play tonight.

the bulls should just play Detroit every game. seems like they can only get up to play those guys

i had the over and under on Tyrus Thomas making an outside jumper this season at 15. he's already hit 4 i think

Skiles taking out all the starters at once? my goodness. Pargo missed out

AG, I think Tyrus had 4 in the Philly game alone.

His shot looks great, remember the play where he took someone off the dribble and pulled up (I believe it was Reggie Evans)... so sweet. 8-)

Is it me or are the Bulls just sloppy at the start of the season? I mean, they are not themselves, ball rotation looks sloppy, even the open jumpers not going down, hmm, roster changes, perhaps?
