Which Camera to use in the PC?

Sun Oct 28, 2007 1:33 pm

Ok so I've tested out all the different camera angles, and I still can't find one that I like the best to give me the most realistic view. The broadcast and lower bowl views are a little too low and you can't really see the other side of the court too well. The sky box view is a little better, but it has an awkward transition and a bad view while shooting free throws...and I usually don't like the overview angles

so which one do you think is the most realistic and at what zoom?

I really hope someone can create some better camera angles, and get the press box view from Live 07 back.

Most of the ppl got used to 07 press box camera and apparently sky-box cam in live 08 is quite the similar one. You shouldn't worry about free-throws if you can play with sky box cam because all the other camera angles are kinda bad for press-box users.

My vote would have to go the sky box camera as well.

Mines' the broadcast.

I like the skybox. I tried to make a better camera for 08 like the next gen broadcast cam, but it just isn't working like it did in 07.

"BROADCAST with %60 ZOOM" looks really good visually&gameplay !

Official NBA tried that broadcast view, uhm I guess in San Antoino - Seattle match last year, I remember one of the speakers said "I feel like playing playstation". After that match they tried it couple of times in other matches but i guess someone in the board didnt like it.

i think it's impossible to play on any of the side views. i always play on baseline mid.
I don't understand how it's playable any other way, i mean the depth perception throws me off on the side ones.

Scratch that; Broadcast is my camera of choice.

yeah broadcast is probably the best, but I still really don't like any of the cameras. I think that the camera might be the reason that I'm having a tough time shooting and making jumpers like I used to.

I really hope Pdub or someone can find a way to make a better, higher angled broadcast view or the 07 press box view back(if that's even possible). I'm sure a lot of people would really appreciate that.

You Damn Right! Cameras are the reason I´m having tought time playing this game too. The Pdub camera patch will make nba live 08 a much better game.

skybox but not real happy with it...they all suck although sometimes playing "On Court" zoomed in is nice

Fri Dec 14, 2007 2:44 am

sky box but will use baseline low

Fri Dec 14, 2007 7:10 pm

the best in baseline mid....zoom level is exact when the blue line end at the half of the zoom
