I'm wondering, did all the people that experienced crashes poses illegal version of the game? Did anyone with legal copy expirience crashes? I know it's discussed in different topics here and there but there is really no clear data and it's really critical to knpw before I buy the game.

yes ..there are peaple that have crashes on a legal version..I have no..my friend got a CD and give it to me so I'm playing it fine..but many says that even a legal version (on CD) crashes...

no discussion of no-cd/dvd cracks on this site; the normal game should not crash from the timeout/quarter bugs.
