Is this for real? (PC version)

So I got the game. Installed it a good 20 minutes ago. I jumped straight to the dynasty mode. Everything is looking ok until I sim through November. I look at the players of the month and the following pops up...



I look at the stats and I'm like wow then I look at the name and I'm like who the hell is this??? I chose to go trough the 07 draft before the start but wtf???

In other news Oden was traded for Igoudala in the first week...nice

Wouldn't something like this be found with even a quick test? How did EA miss it? It's almost as if they're purposely making big problems with the game to encourage people to buy an XBOX 360.

I checked that players stats under the Player Stats menu..

He had played one game and scored 20 points... So, what the hell?

This is the ultimate joke. I really can't believe there's so many users in this community thinking and investing time in fixing the crappy game EA is releasing each year lately. It gets worst every year.

I made a decision 2 years ago and bought an XBOX 360. No more config problems with my PC, no more hardware unexploited, no more crashes to desktop and best of all, no more relying on a single basketball game. Luckily, in consoles there's some competition and while EA Sports NBA Live is miles away from NBA 2K8 accurate gameplay at least makes some kinda effort on XBOX 360 and PS3. That (buying the XBOX 360) might have been the best decision I ever made: now I know NBA 2k series and though the first time I tried it it felt strange after so many years playing live playing NBA 2K6, 2K7 and 2K8 was tons of fun. Hey, the game has its flaws, but not this unforgivable bugs, flaws and crashes.

So, I really hope 2K9 to be available for PC users, it might be the only way for EA to really care. As long as NBA Live keeps on being the only title available and people keeps on buying it (seduced by each year big promotional lies) you'll be screwed.

So don't buy this year's NBA Live 08, actually, according to what I've read so far it's not even worth to download it. instead of trying to mod the unmoddable (yeah, I guess i came up with a new verb) get some money and buy a next gen console.

tried drafting prior to start of a dynasty. cpu drafted mcroberts 1st overall. is this mcroberts guy that good?

maybe instead of showing averages it shows the totals for the stats?
