NBA live 08 PC

Played a bit more:

PRO

- Steals looks bit better
- Rebounding looks a bit better too I think
- Hot Spot Feature
- Gameplay is smoother
- Players can walk slow (Am I right that in 07 you can only walk normally but you can't walk slow??)
- Camera is sweet
- Sig Shots and GTM looks okay (but too less Signature Shots I think)

CONTRA

- too little open shots from opponent...they often drive to the basket even if an excellent shooter is wide open...
- Big Men's give too much Assist's
- e.g Dirk's Fadeaway looks not so bad, but I made 9 of 10 so I think that's a bit too much.
- The only Sig Shot which is horrible is Dirk's ...it looks really weird
- Roster is absolutely lame (Pops Mensah Bonsu around 75 WTF!)
- Timeout crashes!!!


Graphics...ok..crap...even if it looks a little bit better as last Year.

Guys how about the dynasty mode? Is the free agent mini game included in the PC version? Or is it just in the next-gen consoles?

I haven't seen any new things in Dynasty Mode beside Synasty Scenarios or whatelse it is called^^

Actually, you do not need to hold it down the entire time, which some people may think. If you hold it down for a second, they will stay up for a while and even switch when you pass to different players. You can cancel them with another press. I do not know how long they stay up if you do not cancel.

The PC and PS2 version missed out on all the Dynasty enhancements.

It's locked to 82 games, same as last year.

Oh man! That just sucks... That was one of the things I was really hoping to try out...

this year I actually want to do a full dynasty so I will do all the tedious work needed to make a default 29 game schedule if it is possible.


for hotspots hold the key you have binded to the "crossover" move on offense.

I think its really harder to play good defense now, like that.
No ,,monsterblocks" all the time, and no 20 steals per game.
but hte timeout/quarter- bug is really anoying

I can play 1 All Star game with "ESC" function:) Very funny and annoying!
But in every other game will be crashed on subtitution or end of quarter:(

I was just wondering... like we could use the cam file (nbacam.mgd) from previous versions to get the camera angle in NBA Live 06 (I didnt buy Live 07)...can we use LIVE 08's cam file in the previous versions, like in live 04/05?

hmmmm..........there's some things i like about this game and some i don't..... don't know yet if i'll play 08 or return to 06. For the time being i'll keep playing this.

turn off ur firewall when ur playing. i havent experienced any crashes after i tried this
