When will the PC price go down?

Usually consoles stay $50 (US) for a year. Then when the next series is about to be released, it drops down half the price, around $20-$25.
But I want to know when will the price will drop the PC version? It's currently listed at $40 on business websites. How many weeks/months does it usually go down to $30? I know you can consider me cheap but I'm trying to save myself a little money here for other things.

not sure but after a yr its like $10-20

well, i cant help u, but i can help canadians that have the same question in canada, it usually goes down after 4-5 months.

A month or so before the playoffs start the price of the PC version usually drops to about $19.00 at US department stores like Walmart but after a month or two you can get a used copy from Electronics Boutique.
