What books are you reading guys?Mine;s the following:

-Yao: A Life in Two Worlds
-When Nothing Else Matters:
Michael Jordan's Last Comeback
-Waiting
-Cooking 'Round the Clock: Rachael Ray's 30-Minute Meals
-Alton Brown's Gear for Your Kitchen
-Vino Italiano: The Regional Wines of Italy \
-The Basics

My favorite of them all is Yao: A Life in Two Worlds
Any books you can reccomend?

Oh, snap. I totally thought this would be a The Books thread.

On topic, though, I'm currently reading Whose Freedom? by George Lakoff. The subtitle is "The Battle Over America's Most Important Idea". Should give you a good idea what it's about.

The other book I'm reading is Fugitive Pieces by Anne Michaels. I'm only like 2 chapters into it, so I'm not too sure what it's about entirely yet.

Now I get it.
You eat a lot because you read a lot.
Reading is so tiring.

Talented in basketball.
Food lover.
Appreciative of the written word.
You are a renaissance man.

You truly are a MVP.

First, that you finish the seven you are reading at one time.

Then I suggest these to you personally:
Kitchen Confidential
A Cook's Tour
The Nasty Bits
Heat

Why read books when you have a wonderful forum full of great topics (ahem) to read?

I'm reading Mao - The Unknown Story (Jung Chang&Jon Halliday) right now. It's a very good biography and I'd recommend it to anyone who's into Chinese history and wants to know what a real life communism looks like. Purges FTW.

I'll read converse's autobiography anytime.

I'm reading the dictionary. Under highly advanced spam-bot it has a picture of you.

Seriously though, I'm reading "How to fix your eyes without corrective lenses" or something like that. I'm trying to get rid of the mild myopia that I developed. It's annoying not being able to see things very clearly. :wall:

I'm reading the Young Lions by Irwin Shaw, it's pretty good, and pretty damn long.

Aside from that, I read The Salmon of Doubt by Douglas Adams when I'm on the toilet.

(Y) Douglas Adams rules, and reading him on the toilet somehow adds to the whole experience.
