What should i get?

I've just looked through the AU EBGames website and found out that 2K8 was going to be released on the 22nd of November. 
I saw the website a few days ago and saw that it was going to release this weekend and i was so excited on getting it.
The question i want to ask is that should i get Live to save waiting for 2K8 or should i wait?

For those who have Live, how is it in terms of gameplay?
I have the demo but i would like to have feedback from people who own the full game.

Personally, I think the demo gives you a good feel of the game. Have you tried the 2K8 demo at all?
Do you prefer one game's approach over the other? I haven't played the full version of NBA 2K8 but an example of one thing that keeps me playing Live and preferring to see it get better than switching to another game is that I find Isomotion a bit awkward and cumbersome compared to Freestyle Control. That could just be a matter of me not being used to it but I prefer the right analog approach. You might want to consider aspects like that.

I have tried both demos and yeah just like you Andrew i do prefer the Quickstrike Ball Handling over the Isomotion.
I do prefer 2K over Live.
But the thing is that i do not want to wait to long for a basketball game because i was expecting 2k to release this weekend but now that i found out that it was releasing next month I and i thought to myself why wait and i want feedback from Live and 2K8 owners.
