Stephon Marbury should pass more and shoot less in order for the Knicks to go back to the playoffs. This is one talented team.
Probable Starters:
C- Eddy Curry
PF - Zach Randolph
SF - David Lee
SG - Jamal Crawford
PG - Stephon Marbury
off the bench
SG- Quintin Richardson
PG - Nate Robinson

That lineup would get eaten alive. David Lee is coming off the bench, guaranteed. There is no way in hell you can play Lee, Curry, and Randolph at the same time and expect to win, especially when your guards are terrible decision makers, and streaky-as-hell shooters, and rather porous defenders. Seriously, if the Knicks go with that as their starting lineup, they're looking at competing for the worst record in the league.

Speaking of Isiah Thomas, just thought id mention that in my opinion, his steal of Jared Jordan for nothing was one of the better moves of the off season..

Click here for RealGM articleWill they be the twin Oliver Millers? Probably not, but definitely not an encouraging sign.
I post this a few days ago, and suddenly there's a contradiction?
Curry sheds 20; Randolph impressing

Just saw the Knicks play against Maccabi. Zach Randolph is fat, really out of shape. You can even see the double-chin during close-ups.

Haha. I just noticed this post. As if Isiah Thomas had any input in any front office moves for the Pacers.

Not only that, Zeke wasn't even the coach yet when that trade happened.

He's on the training camp roster but there's been talk that he might not make the final cut after all.
I've been meaning to post this for a while. I took it during the MSG tour at the Community Day back in June.
It's not a great photo due to the reflections but for anyone who's having trouble making it out, the heading next to Isiah Thomas is "Experience the vision". As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to take a photo.

I hope you Knicks fans take care of Zach

Don't worry. They're feeding him well. Very well.

That was a cold but true comment shadowgrin

. Did we actually just get a glimpse of Andrew in the reflection? Ah well I won't be heading to MSG till december 23rd, I'm gonna see the Lakers come to NY. Anyone else going to that game?

Woah, knicks lose by 40 to celts.

The least sympathic team ever. Marbury is totally nutch, Crawford is a chucker, Curry is all words (and ass) and the epitome of a one-trick pony, Nate is a retard, and Randolph is a gangsta wannabe. There are some bright spots, namely Lee and Balkman, but they won't see as much light as they would rightfully deserved. Of course they won' t - this is New York. Isiah doesn't know what he's doing - you don't get a flawed, overpaid cancer who plays the same position your best player (=Lee does).

Haha, the Knicks already cut Houston.
He must be embarassed right now.

I feel really bad for him. I knew making the comeback attempt with the Knicks was a bad idea. They're bloated and screwed at the moment. Not the same team or organization as it was when he 'retired'.

From the sounds of it, his comeback attempt is done since he seems to have indicated it was the Knicks or nothing. I thought he might pursue the Cavs or Nets if things with the Knicks fell through since they both seemed interested in him at one point.

The Cavs need all the help they can get. I hope he gives Cleveland a go.

You really think so, Amp? If the Knicks can play a LITTLE defense, I feel they can win 45-50 games in the east.
Tue Oct 30, 2007 10:23 am
no way the knicks are winning 50

Dude, the Knicks can score with anyone. Like I said earlier, if they can pay attention to defense, why can they win 50?
Was that Eddy Curry working on defense last night? I couldn't believe it!
