PES6 hates me.

I swear it does.
After finally re-installing it along with the Superpatch a couple of weeks ago, I've had no luck at all on Professional.
The first few games, getting used to the controls after missing it for about half a year. No offense, but that doesn't matter.
Then things go downhill.
I lose a few games in a row by one goal. Each time, it came from a bad auto-change which totally messes up my defence and results in an easy goal. One time, my tying goal is denied in injury time by a handball, but of course, it isn't called in this game. Another time, I pull the ball into the net before the keeper tackles my striker. The keeper is sent off and I get a penalty instead of the tying goal. Of course, the reserve keeper deflects it into the post and then the short clearance results in a shot thumping off the bar.
And today, I played a game where early in the game, one of the opposing players crosses the ball in. The ball misses everybody, but it beats the keeper and then suddenly bounces oddly and rolls into the goal. After that, I totally dominate the game but I can't beat the keeper. In injury time, I have a clear path at goal as I beat the final defender. But wait, NO, the defender falls to the ground and they get the foul to seal the win. Final stats show: 24 shots to 8, 13 on target to 2.
Seems like soccer games really hate me.

you may change it to manual, makes the game easier at least for me.
And those strange goals are just what make PES so cool. Soccer sometimes is just about luck and if you play clearly better you will win anyway.
Keep it up, I am playing PES for such a long time and quite often and I still may loose against the CPU. (Im more of an online player)

Yeah, definitely use Manual Cursor Change (hit L1 to change) and it's a lot easier to score on Top Player because the AI takes more chances trying to steal the ball, allowing you to avoid them and zip by.

Waiting for PES 2008, a lot better than PES 6 (and next-gen)
