The time of the draft on the site, Sat Oct 20 9:00pm EDT, doesn't work for me. It would be great if it could be pushed forward 4 hours or anytime on Sunday.

Not any earlier?? That would be 5am for me, and me no like mornings.

I think, if all else fails. We might have to compromise and pick the time that suits most and go from there. Will wait for more feedback though.

dude, we also need one more to play. we have an odd number of people and we need an even number.

There's quite a few people I have PM'd the information to that haven't joined. Hopefully they will join up in the next day or 2.

Well due to our schools homecoming, 10/20 at 9 ET wont work, so i guess ill be fine with autopick (or a different time)

Thu Oct 18, 2007 4:20 pm

Im happy with Auto pick

Thu Oct 18, 2007 4:54 pm

I see we're using turnovers. Personally, I have mixed feelings about turnovers in fantasy, but at least it'll make me re-think my strategy a little bit. Should be fun.

Thu Oct 18, 2007 5:30 pm

If turnovers and FG% are removed, Arenas and Iverson would be fantasy gods.

Thu Oct 18, 2007 5:35 pm

Auto pick is a horrible, horrible option. If people can't make a time, then they would have to be subject to an autopick anyway. That ruins it for everyone who could make a time/date.

And I'm cool with virtually anytime. If i cant make it, ill just set my list up.

Well, I have school so naturally, that's out of the question for me. I'd like a weekend draft, but...

Fri Oct 19, 2007 7:01 am

Anything but Fridays and Saturdays.

Fri Oct 19, 2007 3:21 pm

well if no one has a problem with it, I say we move it 5 1/2 hrs earlier because I have an appointment with a shrink until 12 PT and that'll give me 30 mins to get back. any takers?

Fri Oct 19, 2007 3:30 pm

That would actually work perfectly for me. I have a two hour break during that time.

Is the draft not scheduled for Saturday? Or are you taking weekend classes?

Fri Oct 19, 2007 9:00 pm

Ty Land, imho just pick a time and whoever can make it will make it and whoever can't won't. There's no way you can pick a time that can please everyone.

If only people could see the world doesn't revolve around them...

That's my current thinking. Will make a final decision in the next 24 hours. Probably will push the time back, as nobody seems to have a problem with that.

Will definitely be going ahead with the Live draft, just so everyone is aware.

No, it is a two hour break from work.

Okay I've decided to leave the draft at the time it was set from the beginning. While I know so people may have to miss out, I think it will be too late to change it as others may not be aware of the change and miss out due to that fact. So sorry guys that aren't available at the time. I guess you will have to organise your pre-rankings so the auto-pick can be done to your choosing.

So just to clarify, the draft time will not be changing. It is set at the time stipulated in the opening thread.

Sat Oct 20, 2007 8:26 pm

So is it 11am Sydney time? Right now it's 8:30pm and it shows 14 hours, 30 minutes left until the draft...

You'll have to log in and work out what time it is for you locally. It is far from clear, because it says it is 11AM EST, but EST can be Australian Eastern Standard Time or Eastern Standard Time in the US. Why it would localise the time rather than have it set to an American timezone is a bit beyond me. But I would recommend everyone logging and working out what time it is in your time zone.

Sat Oct 20, 2007 9:28 pm

It's all up to the time settings in your Yahoo account. If you set it in the American timezone, the display of the the time will be adjusted accordingly even if you are in Australia.

Thought that might be the case. Doesn't really help in this circumstance though. Wouldn't they presume people from all over the world may be participating in the same draft? Either way, only 13 hours or so to draft time. I might possibly be able to be involved now. Yay

Sun Oct 21, 2007 1:51 am

I think it'll be 2 am in Austria, but it will work for me.

Sun Oct 21, 2007 1:53 am

buzzy, join the unofficial league now! We have 3 hours before draft time there, we need one more participant.

The thread for the unofficial one.

Autooooodraft more me. Be prepared to be bombarded with trade offers of I don't like my team.
