Memphis Grizzlies '08: The future is now... AN INJURY OCCURS

Sun Oct 14, 2007 11:25 am

OK, this is my first Dynasty story. Here's the line up for the Grizzlies.

Starters
C - Pau Gasol
PF - Shannon Stoudemire
SF - Tayshaun Prince
SG - Daequan Cook
PG - Devin Harris

Bench
6 - Brandan Wright
7 - Rudy Gay
8 - Damon Jones
9 - Darko Milicic
10 - Zarko Cabarkapa
11 - Edmond Hurtandson
12 - Dajuan Wagner

Drafted Rookies
1st overall, Shannon Stoudemire
An aspiring rookie from North Carolina, Stoudemire came to the NBA as a freshman and has led the NCAA league in points and field goals. He is a 6'9 power forward whose only weaknesses are his free throw shooting and 195-pound stature. He has an 83 overall.

30th overall, Edmond Hurtandson
Hurtandson is a junior from LSU who was 5th in rebounding and field goals. Although he is 6'10 and 234 pounds, don't let that intimidate you. He has a 66 overall.

Pics coming soon.

Wow, a 6'9 195 power foward. I'm pretty sure you'd want to play him at SF instead or else he'd take a hell of a pounding from NBA bigs. I'd want to upgrade your point guard though. Damon Jones won't cut in when running the offence, although I do like him as an energy guard that can nail some shots off the bench.

Yeah, that's Shannon's secondary postition.

RECENT NEWS
The Memphis Grizzlies has released Channing Frye and signed Zarko Cabarkapa and Dajuan Wagner, which are not big additions. But they did trade Mike Miller for Devin Harris, making the Grizzlies a team to watch out for.

Umm; what game/system is this; what other trades were there to acquire Prince and Co.; why did you release Channing?

PS2, and Channing Frye requested it.

Also, Brian Cardinal was traded for Brandan Wright, Kyle Lowry for Tayshaun Prince, Terrence Kinsey for Daequan Cook, and Stromile Swift for Devin Harris. And Hakim warrick was for Damon Jones.

Mon Oct 15, 2007 9:29 am

Holy shit! You completely ripped those teams off! Amazing even for Live; considering they are all 1-for-1 trades.

Yeah, thanks. Also, I've been setting my eyes on Kevin Durant for a while. I will try to get him.

Why in the world did u release Frye, at least try and trade him and considering how much you ripped off those other teams, you could have gotten like Duncan for him lol! Why did he wanna be released?

To tell you the truth, I tried to get Channing in Dynasty ( I made the roster by then), but I had no cap space. So I couldn't get him. So I made the "released Frye" thing.

Don't get angry, please. :(

Tue Oct 16, 2007 12:16 pm

I'm not angry lol, I was just curious as to why you would have released him... good luck man! (Y)
