Preach the truth. Preach it.

The fact that you consider it a "lifestyle" (as if every gay person lives in largely the same manner) says that you are. It's a sexual orientation, not a lifestyle.

You live a completely different lifestyle than me if you let some other dude stick it up your butt. It is sexual orientation, but I believe the effects alter more than just who you get busy with. It usually comes full circle.

That's simply not true. Having gay sex does not mean someone lives a "completely different" lifestyle than you, just that their lifestyle is different in one inconsequential way. What about gays in the military? Any of the homosexuals over in Iraq living totally different lifestyles than their straight contemporaries? No, they're doing the exact same stuff, only instead of wishing they could get some pussy, they're wishing they could get some cock. How is this a lifestyle difference?

Riot wrote:The major difference is you are comparing normal people to gay people who have to act normal because it is condemed. That is not their normal lifestyle. You need to look at the people who are openly gay because those are the people who fully live that lifestyle...you are too busy looking at the people who are trying to blend in and hide it. How the hell is that helping prove your point?

TheMC5 wrote:Again, that is simply not true. You're taking one aspect of a person's behavior and applying it their entire lives, as well as making a lot of erroneous assumptions about the specific gay people in question. The majority of openly gay people are not uber-flamboyant, nor are all the non-flamboyant gays trying to "blend in and hide it". You also seem to be basing these assumptions on "the few gay people (you) know", as if they represent an accurate cross-section of all gays. Just to contrast that, the MANY openly gay people I know mostly live very normal lives/lifestyles, and vary widely in their age, ethnicity, socio-economic background, which makes me think they might be a more accurate cross-section than the few you know.
Just keep sticking your foot in your mouth. The more your post, the more homophobic you look.

Of course they vary in ages...they age just like the rest of us.
Anyways, I don't really give a flying fuck if you think I'm a homophobe or not. If it makes you feel good to ride on your high horse and say how open minded you are then more power to you. I know what I am and that is completely fine with me. It obviously makes you feel better about yourself and as long as you are happy and content with your personality then so am I.
Have a good fuckin' night, dude.

I can't believe more people aren't outraged at what he (and others) have written in this thread and over the forum in the last few weeks.
If you substituted the gay slander to references to particular cultural or ethnic groups that existed in the forum, I'm sure people would be angry

Oh, also, way to completely miss the point. What I was getting at was that I've met many openly gay people of different backgrounds, and the majority of them do not conform to the stereotypical view of homosexuals. In fact, with most of them, I didn't even know until they or someone else told me. The other, albeit implied, point I was making was that since you stated you only know a few gay people, that there is less of a chance that you're seeing is an accurate cross section of homosexuals. That is not necessarily true, but it is more likely the less gay people you know.
Riot wrote:If you cannot see how a gay man and a straight man have different lifestyles then we obviously should just agree to disagree. The few gay people I know, atleast that are open about it, have completely different tastes in entertainment and dress than most straight people.
