And those damn "your territory is under attack" got real annoying. Vice City is my 2nd favorite, GTA III is the best IMO. I hope GTA IV can recreate that GTA III feeling/setting.

That's my complaint about San Andreas as well: sometimes it seems like there's too much to do and the side missions/tasks like gaining and protecting territory dominate the game more than I'd like. That's why I'm concerned about some of the things GTA IV will supposedly offer, like job hunting or dating side missions.
I know I've said this before but to me, GTA is somewhat of an interactive, over-the-top action movie or mini-series with distinct "video game" elements that have never really bothered me. I'm sure a lot of people will disagree, but I'm not really interested in "becoming" the character or incorporating Sims-like elements of daily life into the GTA experience.
-Young Buck- wrote:Yeah i agree. I frown at those who want cops to chase you if you go through a red light. LOL I would rather not have the dating, building companies, and those kind of sim style things. Well i wouldnt want it to be something you have to do to finish the game. If its a side mission that doesnt effect the story then i dont mind.

I never noticed that, why would they do that though?

I'm stuck there right now. Takeoff and landing are easy. But the third one, sheesh, I haven't even made it past the fourth corona.
I need a new game.

Andrew wrote:It's the same in GTA 3 as well; until you complete "A drop in the ocean" you can't get a six star wanted level. Perhaps it's simply to save something for later in the game when the jobs get bigger.-Young Buck- wrote:I never noticed that, why would they do that though?
