Release Date Thread

In that letter for NBA Live fans EA writed two different versions about PC version realease.


First:


Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) announced that NBA LIVE 08 hits stores across North America today and will be available in Europe on October 5. NBA LIVE 08 features Washington Wizards All-Star Gilbert Arenas on the cover , and is available on the Xbox 360™ video game system from Microsoft , PLAYSTATION®3 and PlayStation®2 computer entertainment systems, PSP® (PlayStation®Portable), the Wii™, and PC.


Second:


NBA LIVE 07 was the #1 selling basketball game in 2006*. NBA LIVE 08 was developed by EA Canada in Vancouver , BC . The Wii and PC versions of the game hit stores on October 19 in Europe . The PC version of the game will be in stores on October 30 in North America .



So i think we will have some chances to see PC version tomorow (oct 5) in Europe

I would suggest the October 5th date is outdated information, probably dating back to before the later release date for the PC version was made available. For the moment it would seem that the European release will be earlier than the North American release, though that is certainly unprecedented in the history of the series as far as I can recall. Any early releases have usually been leaks.

the next date is october 19
and after that october 25
and if it will not released that dates
it probably release on october 30

i will know today if we have a pc ver!

they use pal i and just looked at the site o=some marked for the aussies and its says oct25th for them for the pc version.

If that's the case, I'll at least have a few days to try and get a current roster update out in time for opening night.

I suggest you continue to work with your current 07 rosters, as they may be compatible with 08. Even if there is a new field or minor changes, I might be able to help you convert it to the 08 format easily.

Quick question.

In the US and OZ was live 08 released on all formats (apart from the pc version) on the same date?

In England it was released on xbox 360 and ps2 on the 5th oct but ps3 owners have to wait 12th.

there is no pc ver in Russia yet! i've been told that it could be avaliable by next friday!

That'd be great, at the moment I'm in no rush to discontinue the Live 07 updates since with all the contributions and the primacy fix it's been much less of a chore so that certainly could prove to be a time saver.

I definitely spent the last week looking for the PC version before remembering that I used to post at this site all the time. Two seconds here was more helpful than anybody I talked to in the last week.

i have to wait till nxt Thursday, but it hasn't been that bad because i haven't even had the time to play if i did have the game

Stop hating EA for the release date It's not like it would affect your life in any kind of way...

You buy the game when it comes out (if you buy) and what does it matter if it comes out October 30th or 4th or whatever?

Stop screaming and just wait until it comes out

ps. Just to let you know, the release date in Finland for the PC version is 25th October

That's anyone's guess right now. Except when there have been leaks, the North American release has always come before the rest of the world but it appears that won't be the case this year.

The thing that gets me is that I live fucking 15 minutes from where they make this game and I have to wait the longest to get it.

Anyone got the PC version in Europe already? I'm just wandering should I go to some stores today or not...
