I think the question of the hour is... How customizable is 2004? Is it like last year or is it harder considering the graphics rebuild... When patching High Heat 2004 it was much more difficult than in years past because of new graphics... I hope that the change is good and still easy to patch.

It totally depends on how much EA has changed from Live 2003. Last year EA changed the graphics formats a bit and we had to wait until Brien Smith graciuosly updated EA Graph before we could really do any graphics patches. Even after the update to EA Graph...patchers had problems with the letters on the back of the jerseys until Don Daily discovered the problem and made an update for FSHtool (Don called the update NFSHTool). If nothing has really changed in Live 2004 from Live 2003 I would guess it is a matter of hours until the first patch is released (there seems to always a race by some of the patchers to be the first to release something). If things have changed significantly...it could be weeks before the things really get going...as was the case last year.

It will also help if a demo is released prior to the release of the game...since it gives everyone a sneak peek at the files and provides a bit of a head start to patching the full version of the game.

DANet pretty much summed it all up.

I'm hoping that the PC version will be able to have the same patching structure as last year's game where you only had to make folders of players you wanted to replace (such as xplayer\stnash_) instead of importing graphics onto the actual .viv files.

If they kept the structure the same, then I would probably guess patches being released in the first week of the game being sold.

For quality patches, i would guess about 2 weeks after release especially when patchers like Tony and out of the country patchers get there games. Man, I'm hoping this year will be easy to patch! That would make the game just that much better!

As soon as patchmakers get the game and are ready to start patching. As DANet pointed out, differences in the graphics files may leave the EA graphics utilities (EAGE, FshEd, etc) in need of an upgrade before anything can be done.

On the other hand, it should be possible to release roster patches fairly quickly.

Yeah, he has some new tattoos on his right arm (not sure if he has some on his left or not). It was pictured on today's Sunday L.A. Times. I'll have it scanned if you want and posted on here. It's not really a good angle, but it's there, heheh :D

well... thugs do sell shoes better... i wouldn't be surprised if everything in the kobe situation is a marketing ploy, conspiracy from nike... heh.

and these may be better quality pics, than what Trav scanned there, so Rey J can get cracking, and patch these :)

I personally hate tats, but its his body and he can have it tatted up if he wants to. What do tats have to do with Thugs btw? I got friends with tats, my brother has a tat, still they aint thugs. I heard he also has a bigger tat on his back, the face of his wife but it could also be a rumor

LOL, he really belong there now :)

Kobe looked like a little kid in his first seasons, always smiling and shit.
This season he has really changed, he bulked up bigtime for the the 02-03 season, he has maybe raped a women and now got tattoes. He is no longer that happy little thinn kid anymore.

I think all pedophiles have tats. lol

Auto-sers.: Do you think Kobe looks better with a fro or without one.
I personally think he's better off without one; he looks younger. This can ally that whole sexual-offending. MUAHAHAHAHA :D

Yeah I would not like to have tattoes on my face either. But me and my
big brother will get each a Hermelin (a little mink looking animal) tattoed on our left leg since our last name is Hermelin.
