fiba game for world basketball fans..

i'm a big basketball fan here in the philippines and in basketball is really big.. and after watching the philippines compete again in the fiba asia championships in tokushima japan where we finish ninth.. i got to thinking and hoping ea would make a fiba world championship game just like the fifa world cup game in 2006.. what do u guys think about this? it would be really fun to play thi because you'll get to play your fave country and go through the whole competition to make them qualify for the world championship or the oolympics just an example.. hehe.. hope somebody in ea is reading this.. lol

your in luck because fiba is gonna be incorporated in live 08 yay.

but it's going to be only 8 teams.. what i was thinking was a whole lot of other countries.. a separate game from nba live 08.. so you'll have other choices like australia, lithuania, jordan, iran, etc.

There's a National Teams patch in existence, but its homepage is down at the moment. I believe it was active from Live 2004-06 but I may be wrong.

Considering that EA has an agreement or license with FIBA, it could be possible for them to develop a FIBA basketball game with all the teams. They did release a USA Basketball game in the past, so it's a possible future scenario.

yea in the Fiba blog live put out, they said that the only reason they have 8 teams is because they weren't gonna incorporate fiba into the game untill 09 but they thought they would give the fans a taste this year..and then fully incorporate the feature next year..so you'll probably see alot more teams next year

THAT GAME SUCKS! Don't buy it! It's just some bullshit trying to make money out of the eurobasket Hype.

It aint what it looks like, the basketball simulation doesnt work. You get results like 40-30 and FG Percentages about 90%, Turnovers 250 per game and more... It's not playable at all.

That's why you just get the trailer or screenshots but no gametests for this game. They just try to push the game into the market to sell as many copies as possible. Normally you announced the release of a game at least a quarter earlier before release date, but this one is a big fake to get money out of you.

Wait one more week and you see everyone crying buying this game, but i just warned you guys.

yupi hope that they make a real fiba game that has at least the top 65 teams (philippines is #63 hehehe) u can do the olympic qualifying games or the fiba championship, fiba americas, fiba europe, fiba asia..etc.. as for the fiba basketball manager i hope that it's a good game, it will ba a good start for a fiba game.
