Freestyle Street Basketball (FREE BASKETBALL MMO!)

Sun Aug 12, 2007 12:27 am

Hey fellas just wanted to tell everyone about a free basketball mmo out there called Freestyle Street Basketball!

Its like a multiplayer NBA Jam but it has cartoony graphics and its slightly more realistic (no jumping 10ft in the air like nba jam).

It supposed to only be for US residents but you can get account from other countries too (add me on msn to find out how avr48u@hotmail.com).

The website is: http://freestyle.sierraonline.com/

Heres the IGN review: http://au.pc.ign.com/articles/800/800769p1.html

If you are a basketball freak like me you will love this game trust me.

tried it, played it, didnt really enjoy it.

It was just too slow for me. I love the concept and the presentation of it, but the gameplay is just meh for me.

is the 5 on 5 system already implemented in the US???
here in the philippines it is not yet...
in korea they have it and its pretty cool...

So far I have only seen 3 on 3, 2 on 2 and 1 on 1. Would be cool if they introduced 5 on 5.

Yes it is totally free up to level 15. (hardly anyone pays for over 15 anyway).

I played this game alot earlier in the summer, and Its actually fun if you take it for what is. Its not winning any awards for realism, but its a pretty cool diversion when youve nothing else to do. And its free to chreate a player, but in order to progress past level 15 you have to buy the game. 20 beans to purchase (one time fee), but if you want to spend more, you could.

Theres different "channels" for different levels, something like level 1-7, level 7-10, level 10-15, and then the channel where you pay for it. For each channel it shows how busy it is, 1-7 and 7-10 have a few people on it, 10-15 has heaps of people on it and the pay channel has NOBODY on it lol.

So dont even think you have to pay to enjoy this game, paying would just be a waste of money and everyone knows it.

To the guy who said "wtf?! I wanted to try it, and it says its restricted to North America. And you live in Australia"

Like I said in my original post if you arent in America and want to play then send me an email or msg me on MSN or even just PM me on these forums and I will tell you how you can play it.
