Celtic FC, Welcome to the Premier League
Having won 5 of the last 7 Scottish Premier League titles and, 4 of the last 7 Scottish Cups, and the 2006 Scottish league Cup,
the Celtic Football Club was deemed the best in Scotland. After several relegations from previous Premier League teams, the
idea popped up of including Celtic into the Premier League, as Celtic had proven itself more than once against teams like Manchester
United and other teams. Despite some objections from board members and fans, Celtic FC eventually became a member of the best
football league in the world.
After the move, the manager of Celtic FC felt it was time to shake up the lineup, in order to compete consistently against Premier
League teams. They got rid of several ineffective defenders as well as midfielders and picked up some fresh blood. First Celtic made
it their first job to acquire Park Ji Sung of Manchester United, giving up 2 defenders and a backup goalkeeper and an undisclosed
amount of cash for the South Korean midfielder. Then they acquired several American players, keeper Brendan Horton
(U. of Albany, Goalkeeper), Alex Yi (UCLA, Striker), Jon Smith (Umass, Defender), Conrad Burry (Tennessee, Defender), and Jay
(Umass, Defender). From Chile’s Universidad de Chile they bought youngster Andres Munoz, and from South Korea’s Chunnam
Dragons 22 year old defender Kim Jin Kyu.

Jing wrote that I "played" for Universidad de Chile, who's actually the crappiest team ever in any sport. I like Colo-Colo, the team with the most championships in Chilean history and nemesis of those blue bastards that I mentioned earlier.

Well that's perfect then isn't it? If you had played for Colo-Colo, it wouldn't make sense to pry you from that team. Truthfully I didn't know much about Chilean football, so I just wikipedia'd it and the first result was Universidad de Chile. They actually said it was one of the premier teams in the league and one of the most popular.
Hopefully I can have the first fixture put up by tomorrow night, considering I have to figure out a proper recap format first.

Hehe, you think of everything, Jing.

Drex, I used to coach UDC in some online manager, good team. You should make the top 10, don't see you getting any higher with that team, good luck.

Looks freakin' cool

The Superpatch definately makes the game look way better then FIFA series. Gotta step it up next game, first few games of the season are very important.
Sun Jul 29, 2007 1:04 pm
Yeah this first game I didn't really have a feeling for the individual strengths of each player. Once I set up a proper formation and realize each player's abilities, things should be smooth sailing. Plus opening the season against powerhouse Liverpool isnt really pleasant either.

Nice start man for Celtic in the Premier League
But you know, there's a possibility it may happen in real life.
