I'll be following this. But with the lineup, I won't be suprised if this will turn into sort of like the "Houston wins 47 straight games" thread, baseball style. Did you tweak the rosters so the players' ratings are as good as they are now or are they as good as they were back in 2004?

I didn't tweak the rosters, so the players on that list aren't all that good. Ichiro and Rollins are rated a B, Pujols B+, Vlad A-, Aramis C+, Lo Duca B-, Last 3 C.

Peavy is a C by the way.

"Ichiro Makes His Impression Felt"



This spring training was a very promising one for Ichiro Suzuki. He showed that he can hit for average (.400), power (3 HR), and drive in runs (9 RBI). Ichiro was also very happy about his start to the season in spring training. He said that he loves the team and feels like he has a great environment to work under, which makes him a better player. The stats are not the only thing that is great about Ichiro this year. Also, his determination and work ethic have improved tremendously, and it shows. He has put on a few pounds of muscle and has worked even more on his hitting this off-season. So beware AL West, Ichiro is here.

The standings and the stats are great. They're very easy to follow and now I can track down Ichiro's stats game-by-game. Now why didn't I think of that? But I wouldn't do it anyway, it takes too long. I got enough on my plate.

Thanks man. Oh and the game is really weird towards inside the park homeruns. Ichiro got a triple and then the other team made an error and he scored. They marked it as a HR, but 0 RBI.

At least you got credit for a home run. In MVP 2003, when the computer teams get inside the park home runs, they count it as a normal HR. But when I get one, they don't score anything at all. Not a double, triple, or home run. Just "hit". Only once did I get one called for a home run, and Mike Lowell hit it. Something weird happened that time...the fielder missed it and then threw it away or something. Can't remember.

I get the most inside the park homers from Furcal. CPU puts outfield in, line drive into gap, instant run.

Who is Mark McLemore? The only thnig I know about him is that he played for the Mariners in MVP Baseball 2003 and he sucks. Even lower rated then Luis Ugueto.

He is old (38 years old), decently fast, and hits for pretty good contact. I really don't have anybody else on my bench besides Jose Valentin that could take his spot.
