NBA live 08 already in final production stage...

Mon Jul 09, 2007 7:11 am

NBA live 08 is already in its distribution stage for the game to be released in end of October for the pc. what does this mean? Many of the bugs, flaws, and gameplay problems that has been mentioned in reviews from sites such as ign will still be plenty. i know it's been mentioned that EA has taken notice of some of the issues that has been addressed in community events, unfortunately, what they saw there is what we get. sure, u might think wtf do they do for the last 3 months of production then? well that's what i asked when i found out. none of this information is my opinion, its just straight facts i picked up from an inside source from EA Canada.

i could already see the horde of disagreements that many of u will post here. trust me... as an nba live fan i hope this is false too. i was just too disgusted when i heard it and i simply want to share with the community.

I kinda lost faith in EA but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't make such a move, with still 2-3 months to go...

well, how about that! it suits very well to the ea sports jerks.. ı'm not surprised at all..

Sad to hear...hope EA understands that the entire Live franchise is on the line...again.

every year some stupid retard makes a post like this. they hear a initial report then claim that no bugs will be fixed even though the game is still 2-3 months away. this is always one of the dumbest posts every single year.

btw his inside source is the man he sees whenever he looks into the mirror

Bullshit.

Wow, most of you guys believe the first thing you see. I could tell you an inside source in the government tells me that Canada is working with terrorists and you would believe. Just calm down, it's just some dumbass saying some made up shit with no link and all of you are already cursing EA.

Hehehe...well...I owe my gullible trait to...errr...my friends...yeah! That's it! Nonetheless, I took BiGrEd819's words to heart because he is a veteran poster with 100+ posts, and seeing how the Live community has been rather honest in its news and postings recently, I saw no reason to doubt his words. But now...it's all changed...

That inside source might want to check with Brent Nielsen, who told us something completely different at the Community Day. Considering the outdated rosters, lack of rookies that were as yet unsigned and graphical glitches similar to ones we observed at the build at the NBA Live 07 Community Day last year (which were subsequently resolved by the time the game shipped), I would suggest that the game is not yet completed.

this is nothing you could find online. i would wish the best for this game to come out good just like many of u guys do. no game can come out flawless and EA knows this. issues noted during community events are collected to see if the game is rather still enjoyable with some of its problems. if these issues are not overbearing, there would be no reason to go back on improving when a newer version would follow the very next year with higher expectations on the game. they know they could make a better game. but they only need to make it good enough for that year.

My information didn't come from an online source, it came straight from the executive producer of the NBA Live series at the Community Day just over a week ago.

Deleted due to profanity.

Not necessary, we all know the guy is blowing these facts from his nether region.

Andrew's post just ended the argument right there.

"nothing you can find online" and Andrew's information, a complete 180 from what BiGrEd819 said, was from a man's mouth.
