The US gets a birth to the CONCACAF Gold Cup final after a 2-1 win over Canada.

US leads Canada 2-1 in the 93rd minute and Canada gets a goal. But wait! It's disallowed. The assistant ref says offsides. Yes, the player was in a offsides position but the ball came off a US player, meaning that the goal should count. Canada goes on to lose.

I guess the same can be said for referees of any sports... don't think the trend is gonna stop anytime soon, as well as U.S beating Canada in sports other than hockey.

I saw the U.S. beat Cuba 4-0 in the Gold Cup a few years ago in Foxborough, MA. Hat-trick for Donovan - it was great. Not as great as seeing Man U - Barcelona in Philadelphia and AC Milan - Chelsea also at Foxborough, however .
