This one is priceless :

FEATURED SCORER
.Basketball games have always had issues with the point guard being too dominant in the offense and taking too many shots due to the fact that they are typically the primary ball handler. We have taken a unique approach to solving this issue in LIVE 08 with the implementation of what we are calling the “featured scorer.” .... When the AI is evaluating the goal of a given possession they take this into consideration and run their offense accordingly.

OMG, what a unique approach !!!! Doesn't what "Primacy" attribute is all about ?????
THe feature that already worked correctly in live 2000 and that inexplicably bugged in 2005, 2006, 2007... They discovered it again ! bravo !

And we know now the feature that they will sell on the packaging : "feature scorer"....

EA SPORTS , we sell old features as new one, year after year after year...

Obviously whether NBA Live 08 lives up to our expectations of a basketball video game or not and whether these issues will be resolved in a manner we find satisfactory is yet to be determined and I don't think any of us could be faulted for being skeptical. But one of the most consistent criticisms is that the focus of the series in the wrong place and certain issues are being ignored. To me, acknowledgement of these issues is somewhat gratifying because it suggests that this time around, they're not being pushed aside.

Is "unique approach" the right phrase to use when describing a solution that could prove to be similar to what Primacy has traditionally been intended to achieve? Perhaps not. But if "Featured Scorer" or any of these other improvements end up getting the job done, it doesn't really matter what they're called or the words that are used to describe them in these blogs. Obviously that remains a "what if" and the success of these improvements is yet to be seen but personally I'd rather hear them talking about these issues than a new aspect of Freestyle Control or Create-a-Crowd or something similar.
