Is NBA Live on the way back?

Interesting read, thanks for posting. I guess the end result remains to be seen but what we've heard so far is certainly promising, particularly the focus on the gameplay and the decision not to add a whole new control method this year (though again they did mention removing a few of the FSS moves during the conference call, which is certainly for the best). As I've said before the video I was shown during the call highlighted some subtle but seemingly effective changes, so it would seem the finer details are receiving a lot of attention. Of course, tt's hard to say how it will all work out without actually getting some hands-on impressions.

I honestly believe this is gonna be the game we've been waiting for. . . Especially for us next gen players.

Yes, I'm one of them.
NBA 2K7 has did a incredible job to simulate a real NBA game, my friends who don't even play video games got shocked when they saw 2K7 in the store, they can't tell if it's a real NBA game they are watching or not.
And I don't think that's because the graphic. It's the player's movement and the tempo of the game are so real.
I hate Live07, it shouldn't be published at all, and EA should go to hell coz of it and doesn't deserve our expectation any more. But deep inside, Live is my life, my memory and my only choice. As long as Live08 is as good as 2K7, I don't mind purchasing a console just for playing it.
Live08 looked really promising so far, and from what we knew it should look a lot different than Live07, 06, 05, so once the game preview video is presented, I think we can tell all these articles we read are true or just some bullshit advertisement EA pays to promote their game, just like they did for years.
