Whoa you already started the regular season. Nice 2 wins. I agree about the trade talks, don't trade if the trade is not realistic, but I sure want to see you doing blockbuster trade in the middle of the season. Good luck

Thu May 24, 2007 3:38 am

Yes! Some good defence you played there. 0-16 for 3, that's bad...
You are really starting to get along with the Magic. You just need to rebound better and you will be on your way the playoffs.

Looking forward to the next game :)

Great dynasty man, I really like it, good luck in other games (Y)

Thu May 24, 2007 7:33 am

Good win over Hawks, even though Marvin dropped 22 on you, Hill should be POG with 26 points, c'mon!

Thu May 24, 2007 8:49 am

Nice victory over hawks, a great game by hill (Y)

Sat May 26, 2007 3:45 am

Scoop, Actually the thing is, I started the dynasty with NLSC rosters, not with uninjured, now many players who had injuries are still in the IR...

Sacke12, Yeah, I'm really feelin' how to play with the guy...

Marquis, Probably, I really need a scorer, my current gameplay, won't help me through the season...

S.R.N.O, Yeah, I contested every shot very closely and that helped...

Joker., Thanks...

Anthony15, Well IMO he should be too, but I'm postin' what Live posts...

Cakko, Thank you, very much...

Thanks for the comments guys, I really like seeing you enjoy my dynasty...

The Orlando Magic celebrated their 3rd victory in a row. This time against a Gilbert-less Washington Wizards. They were also playing without Caron Butler.
Magic were leading only by three points after the first period, but Washington came up bigger in the second one, winning it by six for a three point lead, entering the second half.
Magic had a blow-out third quarter, starting really fast and making nearly every shot they were taking. Grant Hill and Dwight Howard were leading the team. Washington also lost Antawn Jamison in the middle of the quarter, when he collected his 6th foul, Wizards knew it was all over for them tonight. They lost the quarter by 18 points! And Magic were going to the last period with a 15 point lead.
Wizards found an offensive engine for themselves in the last period, DeShawn Stevenson really got it going for his team, but Wizards completely forgot about defense and let Magic’s players completely dominate offensively. Magic put in 47 points in the last quarter! Mostly by Jameer Nelson and Dwight Howard. Wizards were killed in the quarter, despite their 39 point effort. At the end of the day, they had to face a 23 point defeat.

Wow, nice start; although you would have gotten destroyed had Arenas and Butler been there. Very high-quality stuff.

3 Wins in a row! (Y)

This is looking like the beginning of the 06-07 Magic season in real life. I just hope you can keep this winning style going for the entire season.

Trevor Ariza scored 12 or his 16 points in the fourth quarter…

The Orlando Magic celebrated their 4th win in a row, against Seattle SuperSonics.
Orlando had a good start, though Sonics were just a step behind, Magic won the first period by three. But in the second, they managed to pull themselves towards and grabbed a 10-point lead, right before the halftime buzzer.
Seattle was strongly resisting in the third quarter, they managed to cover Dwight Howard and Grant Hill who were explosive in the first half, but faced another problems Darko Milicic and Hedo Turkoglu. Hedo was sinking open jumpers, but when he had none, Magic was setting plays for Milicic who usually got space for an open dunk. Even with the strong offense, Magic couldn’t stand against Lewis powerful scoring abilities. He led his team in the third quarter and they managed to win it by a single point for a nine point lead, heading into the last quarter.
Seattle SuperSonics were a little stuck in the beginning of the deciding quarter, but later they found another offensive weapon – Earl Watson. He scored 9 of his 14 points in the fourth(2 treys) and Sonics were going big. With 4 minutes on the clock, Sonics managed to grab a one point lead. But then Magic found an offensive weapon of their own. Trevor Ariza showed everything he had at the time and managed to get Magic’s ten point lead with a single minute to go. This led to another win for the Orlando Magic.

Latest rumors
Devin Harris(DAL) on the trading block?

Sat May 26, 2007 4:27 pm

Another win! I wouldn't really expect you to lose to the Sonics.

Sucks that your Assistant Coach didn't give you enough info about the rumor.....
I really like that you are including the rumors, this dynasty is a great one (Y)

Sat May 26, 2007 5:24 pm

Man, two more win, you're on fire! :D 139 points vs. Wizards is nice, but as we all know Wizards are not much of a defensive team
Good luck in the next game, I'm sure it can be another win.

Sun May 27, 2007 1:24 am

Nice. 4 in a row (Y)

Howard is a beast, Hill is doing everything, and you get great contribution off the bench. Looking sweet so far.

Sun May 27, 2007 2:33 am

Okay, now youre on a run. I think Ariza has loads of potential. You can usually score very well with such players because they are so strong around the rim. Maybe you do not even need a Gordon type player. Keep it up ! I like that this one is rolling now ;)

Sun May 27, 2007 4:19 am

Scoop, Yeah, wouldn't it be exciting to see a big deal?

Sacke12, 'Course they're not! But playing against Wizards, without their two big stars, wasn't so fun too...

S.R.N.O, Yeah I'm rollin' now!

hova-, I'm starting to really like Ariza, he has unlimited potential, but he needs to start to develop, too bad I can't offer him this yet...

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm really glad you're checking my dynasty so constantly!

Turkoglu was as sharp as never in the fourth…

Box Scores
Magic-109
Pacers-95

The Orlando Magic celebrated their fifth win in a row, this time against Indiana Pacers.
Indiana had a better start, winning the first period by 5, but lost the second by three for a 2 point lead, entering the second half. Jermaine O’Neal scored 19 points in the first half, to give his team the fragile lead.
Magic were dealing big problems at the beginning of the third quarter, being completely unable to stop the powerful O’Neal. It all looked on Pacers’ side, as they were leading by 16 with five minutes to go in the quarter, but that turned over pretty soon. Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson combined for a deadly duo, as they finished the quarter with a 15-0 run, scoring each point by themselves and cutting down Magic’s deficit to 3.
Then, in the decisive quarter, Hedo came as the biggest star. The sharpshooter scored 18 points in the quarter(all of his treys) and helped his team hugely on offense. Magic were also able to stop O’Neal and co. on the other side. This lead to a very strong 36:19 quarter and a 14 point win.
Orlando Magic will be playing next game, against Minnesota Timberwolves.

Nice game by Hedo, he was lighting it up! But what about Howard, only 5 boards and 0 blocks?

Good luck against T'Wolves! (Y)

Sun May 27, 2007 7:56 am

Whoa 5-1, and soon to be 6-1 probably; although you haven't faced many playoff teams.

Great start! If its a Pursuer dynasty, you know its good.

Sun May 27, 2007 11:13 am

5 in a row! You are firing now! Hedo was on fire, 33 points! That might be a career high for him....

Hopefully this streak can continue (Y)

Sun May 27, 2007 11:24 am

What a game of Turkoglu. Howard did well in offense, but he needs to get more rebounds. Anyway good win (Y)

Sun May 27, 2007 5:02 pm

You are on a roll now....keep it up! (Y)

Sun May 27, 2007 6:56 pm

Actually thats sick, youre on fire right now. Hedo is a pretty good shooter and I think you can handle him pretty well. If you manage to use your different types of non superstarplayers this well in the next game, the Magic from 95/96 may be back ;)
