no, they dont trade on lottery night. do they?
Wed May 23, 2007 9:06 am
I fucking hate nba.com, because there was an old logo of the Sixers and I thought they were getting the first pick, but it was a video of the '96 Lottery
Wed May 23, 2007 9:16 am
Sopcast just broke down for me, so I can't watch the lottery as well as anymore NBA games from this point on. I have tried every fix available to no avail and it's killing me me.
If Chicago goes top 2, I will feel a whole lot better.
Wed May 23, 2007 9:27 am
curious to see how everyone here thinks the draft qwill go down, after we know the order.
Wed May 23, 2007 9:28 am
no they cant trade right now, but theyre allowed to trade on draft day.
it would be unfair to teams currently in the playoffs.
Wed May 23, 2007 10:32 am
Well, I got SopCast working so now I'm real happy.
I'm shaking.
EDIT: Not that I forgive him for the suspensions, but David Sterns evil giggle when asked about the suspension cracked me up.

I'm trying to await the results of the lottery selection, but David Stern won't shut up.
Please get off my television screen.

Fuck, Milwaukee is down early meaning Phoenix has little chance of getting the pick now.
ugh Boston too. fuck
wtf? Memphis too?
.....
The NBA continues to be uneventful. I dont even care who gets the pick now.

What's exciting about that?

Wow. Portland, Seattle or Atlanta?
Too bad for the Celts, and I'm hapy with the Bulls at 9. This is gonna be very interesting (sorry if my broadcast is slightly behind).

Yeah, but Seattle and Portland are still gonna finish 4 and 5 in this division.

Say goodbye to Seattle Rashard Lewis.

BWAHAHAHA!!! BLAZERRSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Shit, I'm retired. Ooops. Well, it was worth it to say BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Oden and Durant must be irritated at getting stuck in Washington/Oregon. Sonics with Durant is going to be fun to watch though.
I'm still extremely dejected, however.

WELCOME TO SEATTLE KEVIN!
Pacific NW = Ray Allen, Oden, Roy, Durant : the new mecca of basketball
Wed May 23, 2007 10:58 am
Why would Portland draft Oden?
They have Aldridge who was really playing well at the end of last season, but they need a forward aka Kevin Durant. Travis Outlaw isn't working....

Who would have thought that projected 1, 2 and 3 fall to 4, 5 and 6 accordingly.
What a load of shit! Worst case scenario for the Bucks. Instead of Oden, Durant, Horford and Wright, we are looking at Conley, Yi, Noah and Brewer. Still can get a good player, but not as good as it could have been.
Wed May 23, 2007 10:59 am
Wow....
The Good:
Portland and Seattle got top 2 picks! That means that someone in the Pacific Northwest will make the playoffs! Being a fan of Portland, and living in Seattle, this is great. A top 2 pick to Seattle means Shard will be replaced and they might stick around.
For Portland... they may actually draft Durant, because of how much D-Miles sucks. However, if they draft Oden and Sign Lewis, they will be unstoppable. When was the last time a team had two ROY's in a row?
Top 3 did poorly, which was interesting...
The Bad:
Nash will never get his title; at least with Phoenix.
Also, I was pulling for The Bucks and Bulls, but oh well.

Lamarcus Aldridge will compliment Greg Oden very well in the post. The Blazers are in fantastic shape with Jarrett Jack and Brandon Roy in the backcourt. Incredible young talent there now.

Seattle caught a big break, and have an awesome replacement for Rashard.
But Portland. Wow. Oden, Aldridge and Randolph is one hell of a frontcourt.
