Bulls/Pistons Game 3 is now listed for Friday, starting at 11 AM. I know not everyone will be thrilled about that but I for one have no complaints. ;)

Are you still getting your pontel subscription Andrew? I didn't get it this year, and missed it a lot. Will definitely be saving this year to get 2 bucks games a week (or if they play poorly again, the best 2 games). Since I hardly ever visit home, and that being where the foxtel is, I have sadly missed a lot of good games this season.

GOOD NEWS! At last!

Straight into the planner. Fingers crossed for a closer game, or at least a blowout going the other way.

so we get games fri-sat-sun?

Thu May 10, 2007 10:47 am

Yep :D

Thu May 10, 2007 11:43 am

I think the Saturday game has disappeared from the IQ schedule.

Can anyone else verify this or have i just misplaced it?

Sunday is still there...for now.

Thu May 10, 2007 4:44 pm

Yeah, Saturdays game has vanished which was what i was looking forward too...(Warriors v Jazz) and i thought for a second Sundays Spurs v Suns game had been canceled too, but they've changed the name and now it doesn't say 'Live' which is strange as it's still scheduled for Live...

Thu May 10, 2007 6:04 pm

damnit, i wanted to see Warriors - Jazz!

i hope tomorrow we don't get Doug Collins again...he was on the 1st two games and he is an insult to the word "color commentator". Hopefully another detroit win!

Just wondering, what is "pontel"?.........

and yeah, i am not happy about missing out on the Warriors vs Jazz game. Oh well, i am looking forward to the Suns vs Spurs game! :D

Nah I didn't bother with it this year, couldn't spare the money before the season. They had more Bulls games than they've had in years this season and I caught a few more on SopCast so I didn't miss the subscription that much but if I've got the cash when the 2007/2008 season rolls around I might do it again.

Fri May 11, 2007 2:29 am

just to kill time last off-season i ordered some 98 Bulls, 94 Rockets & 99 Pistons games.

Fri May 11, 2007 2:53 pm

Yeah I've ordered plenty of classic games over the years. I don't think there's many more I'd want, though if money was no object to me I'm sure I'd buy them all the same.

Fri May 11, 2007 3:30 pm

So very tempting to buy some of the classics. I still watch some of the better games from the 05-06 season. Kobe's 81 point game, the Bron - Wade Shoot Out, the Bucks several buzzer beater wins etc. Looking back on it, it was a very good season. Depending on how the Bucks go in the draft and my finance I will do another season pass with pontel for 07-08, and I would love to get foxtel but I can't imagine my wallet and girlfriend would vouch for that.

Sun May 13, 2007 4:43 pm

tuesday: suns vs spurs GAME 4
saturday: suns vs spurs AND nets vs cavs GAME 6

Sun May 13, 2007 7:25 pm

Three games in one week, including a doubleheader? What's the catch?

Sun May 13, 2007 8:07 pm

I want to watch Warriors vs Jazz! Come on ESPN!!!

Sun May 13, 2007 10:10 pm

Thanks for the heads up (Y) wouldn't have checked a Tuesday...

Neither of the double-header games will reach a 6th game now that they've been scheduled for us.

Mon May 14, 2007 4:32 pm

Ah, of course. The "if necessary (and too bad if it's not)" clause.

Mon May 14, 2007 5:00 pm

we can only hope that nets & spurs win either game 4 or 5.

Wed May 16, 2007 1:35 am

no dbl header this saturday, however we do get games 5 (thurs) & 6 (sat) of Phx v SAS. I guess this is better than having a 'potential' dbl header.

Wed May 16, 2007 2:25 pm

They're gonna be packed with a butt-load of fireworks as well. We're gonna see an angry Amare on Saturday.

Wed May 16, 2007 10:13 pm

I was hoping they'd pick up Game 6 of the Bulls/Pistons series on Friday seeing as though it's an ESPN broadcast and the Jazz/Warriors series is done. At least it's being replaced by another game instead of us missing out because a Game 6 wasn't necessary.

Thu May 17, 2007 9:57 am

Great, I'm going to see Amare toda...oh wait, thanks NBA. It'll be interesting.
