Philadelphia @ New York Game 4

Kenny Smith: Hello, I am Kenny Smith here with Reggie Miller on the TNT broadcast, the game is about to start but before we do, we need Reggie's thoughts.

Reggie Miller: *laughs* Thanks Kenny, New York have put themselves in a bad situation here, there are 2-1 down in the series. Jamal Crawford has played poorly in the last 2 games. If the Knicks want to beat Philadelphia tonight, Jamal will have to step up like they did in game 1.

Kenny Smith: Ok, we are about to get started as we head down to Madison Square Garden for the tip off.

Game Summary
1st Qtr
Some quick aggressive basketball had the Knicks big men in foul trouble early, Jason Kidd had 7 points in about 40 seconds with a sweet and1 and a 3 pointer courtesy of Iguodala's pass. Q.Rich was injured early but got back in the game late in the qtr. Scores: 38-27 My way

2nd Qtr
Marbury had brought the Knicks back to a 5 point deficit. The game was then traded with baskets, back and fourth. Kidd was playing at an allstar level, he was hitting J's, making and1's. Marbury took advantage of Giricek being at the point while Kidd was having a breather. Marbury was causing turnovers for Philadelphia's ball handlers. Scores: 64-52 My way

4th Qtr
The game was over by the start of the 4th. Philly had gotten their lead to 20 and then benched their starters seeming as they didnt need them for the last qtr. Marbury had an outstanding 39 points. Final Scores: 109-93 Philly take the lead 3-1

New York @ Philadelphia Game 5!

Kenny Smith: Hello, I am Kenny Smith here with Reggie Miller, we are into game 5 in this series and what a blowout has it been for Philly so far, Reggie?

Reggie Miller: Thanks Kenny, New York are pretty much out of the game, they expose their lanes to the basket too much and they have poor frount court defenders, the ft comparison between the teams is just uncomparable. Philadelphia average 34 ft attempts to New Yorks 15 attempts. New York have let Philly play their game and theres nothing they can do about it. Philly will definately take the series tonight.

Kenny Smith: Well we will soon find out Reggie, now we head down to Wachovia Center for the tip off.

Game Summary
1st Qtr
P. Gasol was lead into foul trouble early so was benched for most of the qtr, but that didnt stop Iggy from playng his game, he had 3 treys in the qtr to gain the lead for Philadelphia. Problem for Philly is that everyone is contributing for Knicks. Iguodala has 11 points by this time. Scores: 24-17 My way

2nd Qtr
Iggy was feeling it when he hit his 4th 3 pointer at the start of the second. By this qtr Starbury went stone cold not getting any points in the qtr with numerous missed shot attempts. Korver was heating the bench, hitng 2 jumpers to pick up some points. Philly outscored the Knicks 25-12 in the qtr and had a 6-0 run by the end of the qtr. Scores: 49-29 My way

Players At the Half
A. Iguodala
 18 points, 2 rebounds (4-5 3pt)
C. Frye  4 points, 4 rebounds, 2 blocks

3rd Qtr
It had seemed like the Knicks had given up by now, everyone in the 76ers were pouring in points. Gasol has his midrange game locked in, hitting numerous outside J's and post jumpers. Crawford had a measily 10 points and 4 assists by the end of the qtr, just didnt seem like the Knicks come to play today. This game was over before it even began Scores: 71-45 My way

4th Qtr
The qtr was clearly undercontrol, philly had a nice 20+ point lead and benched their starters with 4 minutes remaining. But Starbury and the Knicks took advantage and wasnt going to give up that easy, Jacking up 3's, getting to the line, anything to get them closer to Philadelphia's score. They wouldve had it but they were beaten by the clock. Final Scores: 90-82 Philly advanced to next round

[b]Toronto @ Philadelphia Game 1

Kenny Smith: Hello i am Kenny Smith here with Reggie Miller on the TNT broadcast, we are about to start but first, Reggie what are your thoughts on the game?

Reggie Miller: Thanks Kenny, Toronto are the underdogs here, Philadelphia are in form, they look like a real championship team. Toronto have to keep Philly away from the stripe because thats where they convert a lot of points from. Iguodala was really aggressive against Knicks, a lot of penetrating from him, it will be interesting to see if he can do the same here. They gotta rotate their defence with Gasol on the block because he has a nice pass off the block so get the double on him, make him pass cross court and cause turnovers.

Kenny Smith: Thanks Reggie, now we head down to Wacovia Center for the tip off.

Game Summary
1st Qtr
Philly had an early 6-0 run but was counered by a 13-0 run. Philly had not used a time out and ran it out. They got it back to 1 point deficit only by hustle, Philly were struggling to keep up and could not connect on their free throws. Bosh had 7 points. Scores: 25-25 tied

2nd Qtr
Foul trouble had Gasol out of the qtr early but was needed back becoz of Webber's and Dalembert's fatigue. Philly was causing foul trouble and getting to the stripe but had trouble knocking free throws down. Bosh was key on Toronto's offence, his scoring ability could not be matched from philly's defenders. Kidd had 2 late 3 pointers to give Philly some confidence and take the lead. Webber was a spark off the bench and had 14 points by now. Scores: 51-49 My way[b]

[b]Players At The Half
C.Bosh
 15 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal
C. Webber  14 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist

3rd Qtr
Gasol had 5 fouls before he was taken off early this qtr. The lead was changed numerous times, Toronto was desperate to gain advantage but Philly needed a lead going into the last qtr without Gasol. Webber was hot on the perimeter gaining the lead for Philly and he kept Bosh to only 2 points in the qtr. Jason Kidd also stepped up with his playoff experience and had 8 assists by now. Giricek hit a 3 on the buzzer to give Philly a 6 point lead. Scores: 74-68 My way

4th Qtr
The man who was quiet majority of the game was the one who owned the 4th qtr. Iguodala had 7 points in a row, was grabbing boards, dishing the ball, Toronto were down by double digits by then but Bosh wasnt gonna let go that easy, he had 7 points late in the 4th to try and bring them back but those points were useless when on the other side of the courts Philly were trading those buckets. The game closed at 93-83 philly take the 1st Game

This Is What James Weir Had To Say After The Game

James Weir:
I thought we struggled most game but i was really happy with the team stepping up in the last qtr. We are playing very consistant *laughs* except for free throws, i found that very interesting to see nobody connecting on free throws and we were lucky that it didnt come back and bite us, coz i know luck doesnt come around twice. And i know we were lucky that our missed free throws wasnt a factor tonight.

Playoff Series
Houston 0 - 1 Dallas
Denver 0 - 1 Phoenix
Philadelphia 1 - 0 Toronto
Indiana 0 - 1 Cleveland
