Your Turn Sign-Up Dynasty

I am looking to create a simulation sign-up dynasty, where I get you guys to sign up as rookies, and I sim their careers. I will start with 5 rookies (including myself) and try to do a fair amount per day (at least 2 months). I will then try to get 5 rookies per draft (the first draft with feature this season's class). I will post:

1. Each player's first performance for their team.
2. Best/Worst Performances for each player over the course of the sim.
3. Players of the Month.
4. All-Star information.
5. End of season averages for each player.
6. Playoffs.
7. Transactions including the players, as well as injuries etc.

NOTE: Whilst I will be controlling the Cavaliers, I will not have any control over my player, any player or anything else. All I will do is:
1. Accept computer-offered trades
2. Re-sign players - only players rated 60+, aged <30, or players rated 65+, aged >30
3. I will sim the draft, to ensure it is fair.
4. I MAY scout all the upcoming rookies to get some decent screenshots.

A few things to note:

• The ratings are now fixed for this next season. These are listed at the end of this post.
• I will be increasing some ratings at different times. I will use a random number generator to decide how much I will improve you by, and I will decide which stat in accordance with your player. The maximum you will be increased by is 5, minimum is 0. Also, it will be at the beginning of each sim when this is done.
• I cannot guarantee playing time. When I simmed a season for test purposes, the two Celtics, and Washburn did not play a single minute. I will try to help you by boosting your stats, but not by too much, to maintain realism.
• First sim will be coming soon. (Not from the season I previously simmed).

N.B. When I simmed the season, the Rockets traded Bonzi Wells to the 76ers for our very own Martti Must, straight up!

Jamie Morrison
Cavaliers Point Guard Jamie Morrison was the only one of our rookies to perform on opening night. He was named as a starter and performed a stellar job for the Cavs, with 7 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists.

Ivan Shchipanski
The next night, Ivan Shchipanski had his debut for the Denver Nuggets. The young rookie had just two minutes to prove himself, and managed to grab an offensive rebound in the process.

Jon Smith
The next debut for one of our rookies was a month later, on December 9 when Jon Smith, who had been on the bench for every game along with Kyle Deardorn, was finally given the call and placed into the game. He had just two minutes to play, and failed to do anything except miss a shot, but it was a defining point in his career.

Kyle Deardorn
One week later, fellow Celtics rookie Kyle Deardorn was given the opportunity to prove himself, with a 6 minute stint, in which he scored 6 points on 3-4 shooting, and made 3 assists. It was a very promising debut, in which Jon Smith also played.

Unfortunately, Martti Must has suited up for every game for the Sixers, but is still yet to play after two months of the season. Worse still, Liam Washburn has yet to make it out of the Anaheim Arsenal, Portland's D-League team. However, he has managed to score 16 points and 8 rebounds per game, so a call-up cannot be far away. Surely?




Jamie Morrison
When the Cavaliers played the Philadelphia 76ers on November 25, Jamie Morrison had an outstanding game. The 5'11, 185lb Guard from Akron managed 28 points and 8 assists, as he played a huge 41 minutes.

Ivan Shchipanski
Eleven days earlier, Ivan Shchipanksi was given just 5 minutes against the Miami Heat, but managed to score 9 points, dish 1 assist and make a steal. Whilst it is not on the same scale as Morrison's, it manages to spur the Nuggets on to victory.

Jon Smith
On December 29, Jon Smith was on the court for 7 minutes against the Golden State Warriors, and managed to score 5 points, grab 2 rebounds and block 1 shot. It should no doubt be an interesting next few months, as Smith sttempts to get more playing time.

Oh, this sucks... For me..

This dynasty is very cool and I'll hop this will go on for some time.

I'll hope to get in a uniform soon..

Don't worry -km-, there are a few bright notes for your: you have a two year contract, so you should be able to get out fairly soon if need be, your learning ability is 72, and work rate is 0, so you are capable of getting better very quickly.

Liam Washburn
Finally, on January 29, Portland Trailblazers rookie Liam Washburn suited up for a game, and played for 7 minutes. He failed to score a point, but the Forward managed to grab 2 rebounds.



Kyle Deardorn
January 10 2007, Kyle Deardorn is given 11 priceless minutes against the Indiana Pacers. He scores 7 points (3-4 from the field), grabs 2 rebounds, makes 5 assists and steals the ball once. In these 11 minutes, he put in an all-round performance, showing glimpses of his future.

Ivan Shchipanski
After months of wait, on the tenth of February, Ivan Shchipanski was given a start for the Nuggets. However, he will be distraught with the outcome. Yes, he scored a decent 9 points and had 4 rebounds and an assists, but he also dislocated his shoulder which will see him out for some time.


As for the All-Star Weekend, not much happened apart from Jamie Morrison being named to the Rookie team bench, where he saw 12 minutes. In this floortime, he scored 6 points and made 7 assists, as the Rookies lost 113-111.

chingy0007, what are you doing about our potential. I mean, what is our destiny ratings?
