He played for the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s with basketball legend Michael Jordan, who helped the team win three consecutive NBA championships.

Helped is an understatement.

But it is unknown whether the fire destroyed the three championship rings he won while playing in the US National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Chicago Bulls during the 1990s, a spokesman for the Fire and Emergency Services Association (FESA) said.

The rings are probably intact but really needs some cleaning.

I heard about that as well, a real shame. His insurance will replace furniture, appliances and so on but much of that memorabilia would be irreplacable, though I guess the silver lining is that everyone escaped the fire safely. I remember the same thing happened to Reggie Miller about ten years ago.

They could of won with Phil Jackson at centre.

At 6,8 and in earlier 50's? Maybe, since they had such a good roster. But you still need a solid-enough center to win things.

Anyway, now to speak of it...have they found out whether he lost his rings?

i think he needs to be signed to a year's contract under phil jackson to replace the belongings..haha..
