MINNEAPOLIS -- Kevin Garnett's 40 Points, 15 Rebounds and 7 Assists were not enough for Timberwolves to win against the Kings. It all came down to a final shot. On the previous play, Sacramento played good defense which forced Mike James jack up a bad shot with 2 defenders around him, Abdur Rahim picked up the board and the Kings had 20 seconds left to take the lead. Bibby wasted some time at the top of the key, at about 13 seconds, he gave it around FT line to Brad Miller to post up, Ricky Davis switched to double team him along with Garnett. Miller found a hole and bounce passed it to open Martin for a lay up, no one close to him, besides Madsen who was a few steps back, easy lay up. The Wolves had 2.6 seconds to fire a prayer because of no TO's left. Foye send it deep, doink, off the rim.
Sacramento was lead by Mike Bibby with 24 points and 8 assists, Martin contributed 22 and Artest put in 21 along with 8 boards. Abdur Rahim hyperextended his elbow in the first quarter, he saw limited action in the game. For the Wolves, Davis and James got 24 and 19 respectively. Kings shot pretty bad from FT line, only 72%. For the Kings, they're traveling to the Windy City the day after tomorrow and T-Wolves head to the City of Angels to meet with Kobe and the Co.

CHICAGO -- Kevin Martin made 25 points, while Kenny Thomas, POG, got a double double with 18 points and 11 board to get a win in the windy city. Sacramento jumped out in front early and never looked back. Bulls had a good run cutting it to 4 points in the 4th, but Francisco Garcia who came in for Bibby scored 6 points in a row to put the game out of reach. Quiny Douby, who saw only 1 minute of action last game played 18 minutes and recorded 11 points. Ben Gordon and Kirk Hinrich comibed for 44 points. Horrible shooting from the FT Line from the Bulls was one of the reasons they struggled.
PJ Brown started over Ben Wallace and put in 13, while the opposition Center, Brad Miller was in foul trouble most of the game and had a bad game with only 1 made FT. The Bulls recieved their first loss of the year, they're 2-1. The Kings are 2-0 after the win, and have a back-to-back with 0-2 Milwaukee Bucks. A lot of points came from King's bench, the Bulls bench was almost a non factor, getting 20 points from 6 players.

Well, in my NBA 2K7 Blazers Association, I play one game per week, then sim the rest. Since you have the luxury of Live's intervention, You could play 1-2 4th quarters per week. Or just sim the first 3 quarters and only intervene in a close game. Whichever way works.
Also, Sacramento is a broken team. Fix them.

MILWAUKEE -- With Micahel Redd and Mo Williams coming off the bench because of injury problems, the Kings still had to play tough on Earl Boykins and Charlie Bell. Boykins scored game high 24, and Bell added 17, but Sacramento was playing aggresively, going into Trap Zone and coming off with turnovers, this lead to fast breaks where lots of times either Ron Artest or Mike Bibby were on the finish. Ron Ron got 18 and Bibby 23 for the game. Kevin Martin was the POG though, he had career high 4 steals, 5 assists, 5 boards and he send the ball into the stands once against from Noel's shot, he also added 14 points. Big men didn't contribute much, best game out of both teams was from Brad Miller 9 points, 7 boards.
The Kings finally play a home game after 3 away. They play Minnesota Timberwolves again. Milwaukee is struggling with a 0-3 record. After the game Coach Musselman said - " Great start for our team so far, hopefully we can continue this hot streak for a while ". Off the bench, Michael Redd, who still has a strained finger, put up 15 points. For Kings, John Salmons got 6 points, 4 assists and 4 boards. Sacramento had a bad night from charity stripe as they only made 21 out of 30 FT's. Milwaukee is last in the league in FT shooting, proved same thing this game with 59%.
