[Grand Prix Manager 2] - Super Aguri 2007 (FIRST ROLEPLAY!!)

I'm gonna start a GPM2 game, for y'all who don't know this amazing game, it's a Formula 1 manager quite old (1996), but thanks to it's great moddability, and the cooperation of patchers around the world, it can still be used. Graphic wise it's quite poor, and has some bugs, but with the right advice it's by far the best F1 Manager ever.

So the thing is I'll be posting a RPG like stories, with the misadventures of Raymond Abrahim an european tycoon whose fortune comes from the oil (any resemblance to reality it's just mere coincidence) who decides to buy Super Aguri F1 Team, and try to make it a successful team worldride.

Rules:
- Will use "iamacheat" only to make game a bit more realistic:
* As a minor team, I'll construct for free (as if I started with) CAD and CAM. This "cheat" will be used once. The rest of the facilities will be constructed with my own money. This is because no F1 Team has no building facilities.
* I will raise my profile with sponsors, but get only deals according with my category (e.g. I'll have 1 three stars, 2 two stars, and the rest 1 star). The renewals of these contracts will depend exclusively on my performance, so this "cheat" will be used once a year. This is because no F1 Team starts with no sponsors.
* The character of this game story is a business tycoon, who has bought SAF1, and invested a net capital of $10 Million dollars to start the year (no further deposits made, all money will be won from races and sponsorship).

- I won't steal technology, only do enquiries (max. 5 per race, if it didn't work, bad luck, without saving, and reloading), and as a result of that enquiries I'll make technology deals.
- I won't make any negotiations for next season (with drivers and staff), until the mid-season (end of 8th race). *Exceptcion: when another team starts hiring before that deadline.
- The races will be run, not simulated. (Free Practice, Qualifying and race).

Wow I used to want this game back then, sounds great, I'd be following.

Sidenote, GP2 = the best F1 game ever.

This is something totally different. I used to love GP2, but have never actually heard of this game. Sonds very cool though. Will be anticipating the update.

- Secretary: Mr. Abrahim's office... Oh hi Mr. Abrahim, I'll put you through with Neil immediately... (whispers) Neil it's Mr. Abrahim, pick up!!

- Neil: Yes Boss?... No I haven't... Right I'll do it right now, and check up the finances afterwards, Do you want me to make you the transference today?... OK, no problem, I'll have it ready by 4:00 PM... Good Day. (hangs).

- Secretary: (looking weirdly at him): What happened there Neil?
- Nil: Nothing really, another crazy idea from the boss, I know that he'll think about it, and call again to call everything off. I'll go into my office and read the newspaper a while. (enters office)



(Dials the phone)...
- Neil: Boss, I read the paper, are you sure you want in on this?... I know, but you are just a mere fan, nothing else, you don't know the racing world... OK, Boss, yeah I checked the finances and they're ok, you can make the deposit whenever you want, 50 Million you said, right?... Sure, take care, bye.

(Reporter on a news station)
- Reporter: It is official, the Oil Tycoon Raymond Abrahim, bought the Super Aguri F1 Team, that went bankrupt 25 days ago. He'll pay off all the debts, and make sure that the finances stay OK for this season. He will let Aguri Suzuki take care of the racing business (as team Director), but he'll own the team, and the final desitions, will come out of him. A press conference is scheduled tomorrow morning to announce the steps to follow.

(Press Conference):

- Journalist: Mr. Abrahim, tell us what are your first steps.
- Raymond: Well, pay off everything we owed, starting by our providers from last season, and finishing with Yuji Ide's releasing fee. Yesterday I contacted all of our providers and signed deals with them.
- Journalist: Who are your providers?
- Raymond: Michelin Tyres, SteelTech Spare Parts, Petrobras Fuel and Silva Security.
- Journalist: What about possible sponsors?
- Raymond: We have agreed to contracts with Credit Suisse, RBS, HP and Michelin.
- Journalist: Who is going to take the Test Driver spot?
- Raymond: We don't know yet, but we'll have news soon.
- Journalist: What about the season forecast?
- Raymond: I'll let Mr. Suzuki talk about the technical topics.
- Aguri Suzuki: Good Afternoon, first of all I want to publicly thank Mr. Poblete for his interest in saving our company. Well I think we have good drivers, a great team working to improve our technical issues and I think we'll make a better season that last year.
