Perhaps if you try changing that it should revert back to how it's supposed to work. Perhaps you're not getting enough power because of the fuse.
I tried checking but like for some reason half the screws on the back panel are stripped to the point that no screwdriver will get them out. I have no idea why they are in that condition since I've never touched them and I bought the speakers new.

You can get a decent card for much cheaper than that lol. More like 100 bucks for like a 7600 last time I checked.

Hmm, I think your back is different from the 5500 then, my fuse is just on the outside, I don't have to unscrew anything.
Would it be possible for you to take a picture of the back of your subwoofer?

I'll see if I can find my webcam somewhere around here
Edit: I found my WebCam it's a Creative NX Pro, does anybody know where I can get the software for it? I found the drivers at the Creative website but they don't have software there. So, does anybody have an ISO or know where I can get one? Nevermind, found some free stuff.
Here is the picture:

Isn't really clear, but what's that little black thing above the yellow plug? Is it like a flat thing with a slit in it?
If it is, that's your fuse. Take a coin and turn the thing and it should pop out with the fuse. Go to any hardware store and ask them to give you one like that. They usually sell them per 3 orso.

No, it's actually the subwoofer volume control knob. As far as I can see there is no "flat thing with a slit in it" on the back panel.

My internet connection stops at a random time after some error with svchost. Plus I only have 256MB of DDR on my unit and haven't added memory since it was bought.

DatYellowGuy, is it possible for you to plug your center speaker into something else to see if it still has the same problem?
This thread should be the official computer help thread or something.

Highly doubtful, the center speaker is plugged into the subwoofer via that huge black thing. I don't know what it is called but it looks like the same thing that you hook your monitor up with.
