Championship celebration in NBA Live 2004!

Postby ailive2005 on Thu Sep 04, 2003 11:22 pm

I hope NBA Live 2004, takes the route of EA's NHL 2004. I saw an ad for NHL 2004 in my OXM mag and it has a pic with the hockey players on the ice posing for a pic after winning the stanley cup(who knows what the celebration was before that but i bet it was hot). That joint looks off tha chain, and I hope EA will do something like that for Live. I hope this year instead of the 30 second jumping around junk, EA actually puts in a celebration with confetty, and fire works in the rafter, and David Stern (since he was in Live 2003) presenting the Playoffs MVP award, then the championship award after a breif speech. If EA was to get this done then they would make Live a hell of a lot more realistic, and fun at the same time which I would belive is what us fans want.

yup :x

i think it's quite easy for development team to make the one with highest rating (star player) to hold the trophy.
(maybe just a simple statment, such as max(overall), to do)

This is much more reasonable.

hope they will solved this out for live 2004

but anyway, it not a big problem at all ~~ :P

Here cocobee, we have the same amount of posts, cept not anymore as I just posted:P

anyways

are we even sure if it is in the game? cause you never know, just because it is in a game ea makes doesn't mean it in another, but of course, it could mean so.

I'd like to see the presentation of both trophies, confetti...perhaps the players could be wearing some of those ready made t-shirts and baseball caps. The ending of any game is important - you don't want to play a game for weeks just to see a screen with a few lines of text followed by credits.

Normally I don't worry too much about glitz and glamour, but the championship presentation is an exception.

Man, i thought we were able to put ditties for the celebration. i had "we are the Champions" it would've of been perfect--but when I won my championship--i just heard the generic live music. I really hope EA let's us customize the ditties this year. it really adds to the game, especially if you put songs in there that they actually play in the real nba games. It adds to the atmosphere, I miss it. Please bring it back EA!

Yeah, i'm also not into much glamor (except for sneakers, but it's realistic, like tattoo's) but the championship is the biggest exception, i'm hoping since EA is redoing the franchise mode (calling it Dynasty Mode i believe do to the huge changes, that we have yet to find out) they would also upgrade the championship celebration. It is one of the most criticle little thing (a little above the All-star weekend events) cause as Andrew said we play the game for weeks and it would be fun to see a realistic celebration after the long battles.

yeah I was pissed when I played through 82 games, and the playoffs, my created player was league MVP -- and after winning the championship, Predrag Drobanojak gets to hold the trophy....

I agree, it's clearly based on the Lakers' celebrations, since they were the three-time defending champions when Live 2003 was released.

OK, I'll rephrase that. It's clear that it's loosely based on the Lakers' championship celebration, which featured the starting centre.

Shaq only let Kobe to hold it because he cannot hold both.
