Sun Feb 11, 2007 12:17 pm

I happened to come across this at wikipedia and I almost had a heart attack. Can't wait to play this!!!! Release date is March 6(US) and March 9(UK).

yep, it looks like it will be fun. I really gotta get around to finishing LCS.

Mon Feb 12, 2007 7:21 am

Great news, I also gotta finish LCS, JaoSming :P

I reckon I'll pick this one up, given how much I enjoyed LCS. (Y)

Yeah, I had fun playing LCS too - lots of fun missions. VCS will keep me occupied until GTA4 for PS3.

I'm interested to see the new map. I got used to the map in the original VC but I've never liked it as much as the Liberty City map used in GTA3 and LCS.

Can't wait for another GTA.I'm done with all the other ones.

Sun Feb 25, 2007 1:34 am

I haven't even played San Andreas nor finished Vice City. :?

Sun Feb 25, 2007 4:44 pm

I haven't finished either yet though I did complete LCS and GTA3. I'm pretty close in VC but I'm stuck on two asset missions, one a timed challenge in a boat and the other a mission in a seaplane; neither vehicle is my forte.

I'm a real GTA addict  ,I finished GTA 1 and 2 for playstation,VC and twice SA.But i got kinda a stuck in LCS.

Those missions always give me fits too, Andrew. But, like flying school in SA, I'm better at them now than I was when I first played VC.

The dude at Gamestop told me VCS is coming out Monday - sweet! I also pre-ordered GTA IV(October release).

I guess it's just another case of practice makes perfect. I just need the patience. ;)

I just checked DVDOrchard since they also sell games and VCS is expected to be available on PS2 in Australia on March 9th which is surprising since the PAL release of a lot of games is often a few weeks after the North American release. Then again, MK Armageddon's PAL/Australian release date was pretty soon after the NTSC release as well.

Just picked up my copy today for 16 bucks. It's GTA time!

Sweet, very good series. And the best part is that it is cheaper

Has there been any talk of a San Andreas Stories because that is what I am waiting for?

Sat Mar 10, 2007 7:55 am

I can't see that happening just because of the vastness of San Andreas and trying to get that to fit on a PSP UMD, well I just can't see that happening.

The only way it could work is if you concentrate on a particular city, like Los Santos(with Cesar as the protagonist, for example).

Just picked up VC:S (and GTA3 for the xbox) and its fun, Ill post more impressions later.

Tue Mar 13, 2007 7:28 am

I see that the main character in this is Vic Vance. Is this Lance's brother from Vice City, the same brother *SPOILER*that Lance was trying to get revenge for being killed by Diaz (if you don't know who Diaz is, he's the fat guy that you kill to own his mansion on Starfish Island, the large island in the middle of the map)?*SPOILER*

Tue Mar 13, 2007 7:32 am

yes it is, they even introduce Lance in the beginning over the phone. I believe he becomes more involved later in the story because he shows up in the commercial.

For those who already have the game, how do you rate it so far? How's the map compared to the original Vice City?

Wed Mar 14, 2007 10:43 am

haven't been playing it at all....been too busy going through GTA:III again. From what I have played through I did like it. You start off on the other island this time and they close off the bridges just like Vice City.

Better graphics and smoother gameplay than LCS. VC '84 is more "slummy" than VC '86. A lot of buildings are in construction. You'll see as you visit familiar haunts.

Is there any way to make the stupid forklift go faster in the "Boomshine Blowout" mission? It's a f-n pain-in-the-ass.

Thu Mar 15, 2007 3:55 pm

How are the missions in general? That was one thing that really stood out to me in LCS, the missions were a lot of fun and even the more difficult ones were able remain challenging without being too frustrating.
