Not a phone I fancy...it's quite a fad over here, but I just don't dig em.

That's mine i've had it for a while now. It has a few nicks and crannies but I like it. It has every feature and shit.

That's what I have: Motorola A1000. It's pretty nice, it has AGPS too. Only thing is I had to spend an extra €39 to buy an SD memory card because it has only 28MB of memory.

I have Nokia 6101.

Actually, I'm with Rogers. They're good, it's just the phone that blows, imo, the more I compare it with other phones.

the RAZR & KRAZR are overhyped so rich, spoiled, impressionable teens here in the US will want to be "trendy" and beg/force their rich parents to buy it for them.

they also made a PEBL after that, which my younger sister has.

No, it isn't hyped over here because it's expensive, in that aspect the Nokia 8800 kicks it's ass in expensiveness.

It's hyped because it's seen as a "metrosexual" phone. Add to it there is the pink version of it, women totally adore it...like with that Samsung Ladyphone.

The PEBL was also being hyped on TV, lots of advertisements and stuff. That's when you realize the power of ads, a lot more people have the Razrs opposed to a fine functioning Sony W series phone. It's quite...sad to be honest.

Some telemarketing whore offered me 2 Razr V3 if I switched to Telstra.

I got it for NZ$190 brand new just before they came out over here. Easy to use, best camera I've seen on a phone (1.3 Megapixel) and the colors on the screen look awesome. Records videos and all. One hell of a bargain considering the price has only gone up since I bought it which was almost a year ago I think.

I just found that funny considering recent revelations

recently got the same phone as well Jackal, i'm really liking it at the moment because it's pretty much well rounded...

- huge screen display
- not too fat/bulky like other Nseries phones
- sliding cover for camera lens to prevent it from scratches is a nice touch
- 3.2mp camera with lots of modes
- 2gb external memory
- fm radio
- loud clear speakers
- being a symbian phone allows me to install cool 3rd party applications/games

my only gripe until now is that the keypads are too damn small...

the difference in ME edition is the color of the casing (all black), added a couple of themes, the external memory size that comes with the phone (a whopping 2gb), and a music button that serves as a shortcut to your playlist...
