MLB 07 or MLB 2K7

Sat Feb 24, 2007 5:16 pm

which game do you guys think i should get? Sony's MLB 07: The Show or MLB 2K7?

Sat Feb 24, 2007 8:30 pm

Sony's MLB 07 got getter reviews if I remember correctly, I suggest it.

I got a 360 so "The Show" is out of the question for me. I have to rent 2k7 first before I buy it because last years for 360 sucked ass. If this years is the same I'll be content with the 07 mod for MVP 05.

The lead developer behind EA's baseball series went to Take Two to help develop 2K7. It might become a really good game, even if its not this year. Bring on the 07 mod!

Whopee!!

Isaiah, I don't know if they sell it. It was a miracle I got one, then again I live in in Finland and got mine in 2005.

Sun Feb 25, 2007 3:51 pm

how much hard drive does MVP 05 use up?

Sun Feb 25, 2007 4:10 pm

Around 2+ gigabytes with the 06 mod installed. MVP is 2 cd's by itself, so around 1.5 gigs without any mods.

Sun Feb 25, 2007 4:22 pm

ayt thanks guys. ill look around here if they still sell MVP 05

edit: is it compatible with a gamepad?

Sun Feb 25, 2007 6:01 pm

MVP 05 isn't sold anywhere - it costs a ton on eBay.

The best and pretty much only way to get it shall not be discussed here due to forum rules. It is a great game though.

Wow, it's becoming a cult game, huh? Hopefully my NHL95 does the same just for the sake of it

Demo is out for 2k7 on 360. Seems much improved over last year. Not sure what current gen would be like though.

Wed Feb 28, 2007 8:28 am

^Just played the MLB 2k7 demo, and as a guy that never played any baseball game before and knows nothing about baseball I´d say this looks pretty good.

Got the full game today and it's pretty damn fun. It's got a great soundtrack too.

The Show scored a 8.5 on IGN; MLB 2K7 scored a 7.0. I guess ill get the show.

Second is the Playstation 2 version, since the PS3 verison didn't have enough reviews.

do any of you have a roster update coz i dont want the total mod conversion

Sun Mar 04, 2007 2:42 am

Yes you do. You definitely want the total mod conversion. It's such a better ballgame with it. Updated stadiums, 2x uni's, better datafile(AI), a million cyberfaces plus headshape updates. Oh and don't forget the cool flow helmets. :D

If you really just want rosters, look for the Ultimate Rosters at mvpmods.com.
