Favourite player of all time thread

Tie between Kobe and Jordan.

All-time: Allen Iverson.

I love this dude, there's no other player that I like watching as much as I love watching AI. His quickness, his determination, his ballhandeling, esp. his crossover, his passion and his heart.

Currently the other player I like a lot besides Iverson is Andre Iguodala. Most probably due to the fact that he's my favorite Sixer since AI left. Plus I like his game and how he's developing.

All-time: Magic Johnson, hands down. Former die-hard Laker fan here.

90's: Gary Payton. you guys saw this one coming.

Current: Chris Paul. PG of the future.

all time fav for me is larry bird hands down. stockton is close 2nd with mj 3rd. loved david robinson also, too often overlooked.

I was also a big fan of Terrell Brandon but he was, in short, a pussy and that damaged his image for me.

I like Scottie Pippen and Jermine O'Neal but now i like Hakim Warrick ,nate robinson,Zebo and LaMarcus Aldridge

As for past players, it would be a close call between Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and John Paxson.

I only got to see the end of Kareem's career, but I read tons of books about him when I was a kid. As for Paxson, I went crazy when he hit the game winning shot in the 1993 Finals against the Suns.

As for current players, I have liked KG since he entered the league. I went out and bought his jersey a few weeks after the season began. Unfortunately, they switched jerseys the next year. But luckily retro has come back in, so I can wear it around and look "cool" (albiet it is super tight on me now)

SG: Kobe Bryant (I didn't like him much before last season, but part way through last season, before his 81-point game, I became a fan of his, his ability to score is just insane), Jason Richardson

C: Shaquille O'Neal (what can I say, hes not what he once was, but hes just too funny and cool of a guy to not like), Yao Ming

My favorite players of all time have to be John Stockton, Scottie Pippen, Mitch Richmond and Toni Kukoc.

I loved the Bulls back in the mid/late 90's but never liked Michael Jordan so much, don't know why. I mean, I realized he was the greatest but I always preferred Pippen and Kukoc to him.

All Time : MJ of course, otherwise I really liked Hakeem Olajuwon.

Now : LBJ, but he's quite disapointing me now, so I'll say Amare, or Nowitzki.
