no, in nba 2k2 and 2k3 you could play 1on1, 2on2, 3on3, 4on4,or 5on5 on street and they have more famous courts like rucker park and stuff

Oh... I never played 2k2 or 2k3 so i wouldn't know....

I could do without streetball mode. NBA Live should be a great NBA sim, not a streetball game. The NBA Street series is a great alternative with arcade style play. I prefer the idea of having the two series.

that's why I buy NBA Street( for that fix)--I wish Live would just concentrate on real NBA stuff--like I'd much rather have an all star weekend(3pt, 2 man, rookie game etc) instead of the 1 on 1 mode personally.
I think the only time I even went to 1 on 1 mode was to see Yohance's young Jordan patch and Tony's Hulk patch.

Is NBA Street only a PS2 release or are they doing it for multiple platforms?
And Live should be a simulation type game where you can emulate the real thing. It seems already quite tough for EA so don't go adding a new mode before they get the real one all right.
Realism is what is expected out of NBA Live-series. And that's the bottom line.

I believe it's out for all platforms. So, everything except PC

I'm an xbox gamer and i prayed for three years now (since Live2001) that Live was going to add real life street courts like rucker park, run-n-shoot, the cage, basically all the courts from both NBA street vol.2 and the NBA 2k series. If it's not in this year it's not going to be a big deal, but next year i'm really going to be looking for it. Hopefully EA does frequent these forums and feel my desire!

besides a good NBA game, personally i wouldn't mind having a street alternative aswell, it's not as if it'd take them much to implement them in... just use the stuff from NBA Street or something, they got all the textures done, aswell as the models, but i guess the problem would be that 2 different developers work on both games...

NBA Street is tha bomb for like 1 week and then you just want to play a NORMAL 5-on-5 game, with more realistic moves, I wish EA would make a game with the graphics of NBA Street something like that, you know, the street courts and environment, but with the NBA Live gameplay

And I do't recall seeing anything to do with NBA Live Street at the EA place, so I think they develop the game in different places too. I'm not positive about this though.

I know all that, I'm saying that I don't think they even make the game in the same city, or country.
