I've tried it on multiple occasions, but I can never get the game to run for some reason. It just gets stuck on the PS2 menu like in the above screenshot. I can't remember what emulator I was using, but I don't think any of them are very reliable.

Ive used that one and got NBA Street v2 loaded and playing......at 8fps...

My game gets stuck on that PS2 menu also. Maybe I'll try with NBA Street Vol. 2 later.

but really your best option is to just get a ps2.

yes technically we could mod ps2 games (mainly street) but we really cant cause nobody cracked the .ssh format.

I mean I did win $20 cause I got it to run (god i love college) but still a $100 PS2 is the way to go.

I thought one broke, so I bought a new one. A few days later, the old one started working.

^^Didn't Sam or someone have like 4 or 5 PS2s or something  ? If it wasn't Sam, I think it was another Asian guy.

It was just lonely and depressed. Once you got it a girlfriend, all was well.

I read that even the top of the line computers can't run the PS2 games at full speed with the emulator. I tried playing 007:Everything or Nothing, when the sound started at the introduction it was at about 0.5 fps.

I don't think most emulators actually use the video card. They just try to pound it out through the CPU only, unfortunately, resulting in poor framerates.

BigKaboom2 is right. Most new emulators don't really utilize the video card and just use CPU power making it unbearable to play.

Can anyone ship me one of their extra PS2's?
