How's your Job?

Tue Jan 02, 2007 12:39 am

Heres a cool survey to take on Job Satisfaction.

http://www.blogthings.com/shouldyouquityourjobquiz/

I got 30-somethin % dissatisfaction and this message:

Your job is not bad, but it's probably not a long term thing.
You're just not happy enough to stick around for too long...
And there's little that can change how you feel.
Start looking around for other options, but only quit for something really good!

Try it.

haha interesting.

Your Job Dissatisfaction Level is 51%

Well, you don't have the worst job in the world, but it's not great.
And don't worry, you're not the problem - your company is.
Start looking around for another job, even if you're not totally fed up.
Because in time, you're going to be dying to quit!

Your job is a disaster - it's surprising you've lasted this long.
You need to quit if you can, even if you don't have another job lined up.
As far as stressful work situations go, yours is off the scale brutal.
Almost any job would be better than what you've got!

Fuck. I'm going to die at this rate.

Oh man, where do you work...men's club?

60% for me

Your job is a total bummer, and probably the worst job you've ever had.
Your co-workers stink. Your boss is a jerk. And your company is probably in trouble.
Think about finding a new job quickly, even if it's just a not-so-great transition job.
You've got to get out of there as quickly as you can!

That's why I quit my job

57% for me, same comments as Jing's....

Yeah, mine was at like 53% (I took in the morning just didn't post). I'm working part time at Toys R Us though so I wasn't expecting it to say I enjoyed my job. I work in freakin' retail. Nothing fun about that.

I'm surprised it was so low, I was expecting somewhere near 90%. Atleast I already quit.

same here. Circuit City isn't that great, but this hot new girl should raise the satisfaction a little bit.

Sure, no job is perfect - but yours is pretty close.
You're resepcted by your co-workers and boss.
Plus, you usually get credit for your succcesses.
Don't quit, unless you know you've got something better lined up.

I'd say that's fairly accurate. More money would be great and it's a small company so the chances of advancement aren't great but for the moment it suits me fine.
