From what I heard, it's been the warmest Christmas week in Milan since 1994 or something like that, and I actually got to see the sun shine in the morning (That never happens in Milan. Never).
I'm seriously starting to worry about global heating now.

Yeah, it has been unusually warm here in Minnesota as well. We got like a freaking blizzard the other day but that was the first snowfall of the season. We haven't had any yet and the snow is starting to melt now.
Is it global warming? Probably. I think it's speeding up a lot faster than many people expected. I'm not complaining though. I hate snow and cold weather so the current temperatures and the lack of snow don't really bother me.

Yeah, it's funny that these weather records are brought up. Cos our christmas was unusually cold and wet here. Normally it's sticking hot.
We also had the coldest december night in like 50 years a few days ago.

Same here, it's actually fairly warm here in December, and it should be another -10*C colder. My gf, who reads up on this stuff, says that in about 10 years, we should be seeing some really significant effects. Even this one mountain (I think in Tibet), always had snow at the peak every year, every day, for as long as they knew, and now it's completely gone. What matters about this is that that icecap was actually a source of water as it would go down a waterfall, into the river, etc. When water sources disappear and ocean coasts rises, then there's going to be great losses.
