what would you do when it is the DAWN of THE DEAD

inspired by cyanide's thread of exorcism, i would like to share my thoughts of the ever returning nightmare of mine. What would you do if one day you wake up and fout out that the world has turned into a living hell of blood thirsty zombies that can run as fast as you are!

i would be doing what the characters of the film would do. lock up myself in a mall, i guess i'll be able to survive in a year or 2.!

if you happened to watch the film, what would you do by then? i guess i might end up killing my self as soon as the zombie breached the perimeter

i guess the shopping centre is the best place given that it's got all the supplies you need. Every tom dick and harry would go there too.

I think the safest place to be would be an area with a very low population. A farm might be good. You could grow your own food and it probably wouldn't be near a large population of zombies. Personally, I would find the closest military complex, because they usually have secure borders, plus lots of weaponry.

WTF Pdub! That real zombie shit is wierd. I have a tough time believing that an entirely deceased person can recover though. They must go into cardiac arrest for like 10 secs max and come back or something. That just doesn't make sense, its crazy though.

this is just a what if thread. and the scenarion is just like the opener "When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth" scenario kinda thing. anyways i always have this freaking nytmare that i always end up stationing in some kind of a mall after the whole world began to rut with zombies.

for the farm answer. i think its not a good idea, having hectares of open space for a zombie to pop out anytime, anywhere!dangerous!

next is the military base. bad idea too. imagine trying to force yourself in there. i'm betting my ass the military will either liquidate you or burn yer ass for being suspected as infected citizen of zombie land!

those who answer the mall! same as mine but not a good idea still. there is still a chance zombies popping inside if the mall is not that secure and the supplies will not last a lifetime you know!

the best place would be i think the sea. on a cruise ship. maybe you can fish for food or shit but no zombie will ever bother you there



anyways on the issue if zombies are real. well its up to you to find out if those guys ever pop out near you someday. what if.......................

I think I'd find an island where there is food that's sustainable for a small group of people. I'll just pray to god that those zombies can't swim and that they wouldn't be on the island in the first place. Like what happened in <movie_spoiler>Dawn of the Dead</movie_spoiler>

On top of a skyscraper where I'd be with a shotgun, assault rifle, chainsaw, axe and a butcher's knife. Only one way where the mofos could attack me.

That's the worst idea ever! Can you imagine living in the cold scary sewers where you can hardly see any light and hear the echoes of zombies? Not to mention those fuckers would crawl down into the sewers and go after you.

I think I'll go with the sewers. I always have a lighter, and a flashlight with me, not to mention my powerful LED keychain light, unless I somehow forget my coat. It really wouldn't be my first choice, and I don't see how any zombies would be down there unless they found an open man hole, or saw me go down there. Besides, I can eat a rat, get rabies and go topside and give those T-viruses a taste of there own medicine.

The thing is, what rules are we going by? If we are talking dawn of the dead, I don't think they would find me. I wasn't sure why all the zombies flocked to the mall, maybe they sensed the people, or that it was instinct to go there. If we are talking Land of the Dead, where the zombies seemed to learn and get smarter, I would be toast in the sewers.

My first choice would be the most secure location, regardless of food or weaponry. Second choice would have to be something with food/water and I would sacrifice weapons for security and vice versa, but I'd rather have the security. Fourth choice should be my first one, GET OUT OF DODGE!! There is barely any living people around, you can guess that the nukes are coming.

We could start making a new zombie movie with this thread. Everyone knows there aren't have enough zombie movies.

What would NLSC look like if there was a zombie outbreak?

Becuase in Dawn Of The Dead the zombies retain some traits of the host person (like the guy at the gun store smeared vblood on the message board) you think anny of us would post on NLSC as Zombies? That'd be funny.

Zombie using a computer lol!! They'd like smash it if something screwed up. If i were in zombie land i would most likely just get a large truck with tonnes of fuel in it and just keep driving around from place to place but the only problem is if i had some sort of mechanical problems then id be fucked.

how about space? go to nasa and steal a shuttle to be launched with all the supplies, then when you are up there hitch to the miur space station and have a russian cosmonaut as a pal.
