Haslem was playing SF in the last game against the Celtics and was doing quite well.

Daniels played most of the last quarter against the celtics :).

This one was close!
Haslem really dominated the rebounding, and good clutch play by Butler!

Hope you continue that winning streak! (Y)

Washington -- Indiana

Image -- Image

--------- 113 -- 116 ---------

Washington Boxscores | Indiana Boxscores

Darius Songaila missed a crucial free throw with 20.4 seconds left on the clock to tie the game. The Pacers then managed to go on and win by 3 points.

The Wizards nearly saw this game out with Gilbert Arenas starting on the bench and only playing 26 minutes, 12 of which were in the last quarter. Antawn Jamison also fouled out in the third quarter. Playing as a undermanned squad in the fourth, the Pacers took advantage of the lack of superstars and built a 8 point lead. The Wizards fought hard to get back in the game and tied it with a minute left with Dooling's facial over Jasikevicius. Shawn Williams shot a long jumper in Dooling's face with 26.2 left on the clock which would eventually be the game winner. Songaila only came on because Jarvis Hayes was too injured to shoot those free throws. The first shot this season went to waste.

Jermaine O'Neal had a stellar game with 28 points, 13 rebounds and a block. Steve Jackson also had 21 points, 8 rebounds and a block. Jamison was by far the best Wizard with 27 points on 12 - 16 shooting and 9 rebounds. Gilbert Arenas also added 22 points and 4 rebounds but failed to nail the game tier

Usually Songaila is a very constant and trusted free-throw shooter... Really weird he missed that...

Washington -- Milwaukee

Image -- Image

--------- 98 -- 105 ---------

Washington Boxscores | Milwaukee Boxscores

The Milwaukee Bucks have overcome a 15 point deficit in the last quarter and have won 105 - 98 against the Washington Wizards.

The Washington Wizards collapsed mentally and physically on the defensive side in the last quarter. Allowing the Bucks to go on a 26 - 5 run in only 5 minutes. Arenas managed to score the next 6 points after this and managed a minor comeback. Dooling managed to put the game within 3 points but the Bucks just clawed away again.

Andrew Bogut was named Player of the Game. He put up 23 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists and a block. Maurice Williams had 16 points and 11 dimes in 46 minutes. The only shining light for the Wizards was once again Arenas with 31 points, 5 assists and 3 steals. All his steals were in the last quarter. Antawn Jamison also fouled out again at the start of the fourth.

Seems like your team is consistently getting 50+ rebounds...is that typical for an 07 simmed game? Should only be 35-40 in a typical NBA game I think.

But good job on the recaps. Maybe you have a future as a sports writer. :) At least you spell things correctly most of the time.

I don't know. I just get a lot rebounds in the 4th quarter. I am only 14 (15 in December), so i may have a future as one.

Washington -- New Jersey

Image -- Image

--------- 118 -- 116 ---------

Washington Boxscores | New Jersey Boxscores

A Decisive Steal and Buzzer Beater by Gilbert Arenas granted the Washington Wizards the win. Gilbert scored 6 of his 15 last quarter points in the last 25.9 seconds to secure the result.

The New Jersey Nets managed to come back from a huge fourth quarter deficit. It seemed that the Wizard's defense was bound to break down. It came down to the last minute where Arenas managed to put in a layup to make the lead 1 for the Wizards with 25.9 seconds left. Jason Collins then managed a three pointer to give the Nets the lead. Arenas tied the game once again with 7.4, then stole the ball leaving 2.6 left on the clock. The ball was instantly inbounded to him, Arenas pump faked then shot it and it swished through on the buzzer.

Gilbert Arenas played a fantastic game with 40 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, a steal and an incredible 3 blocks. Antawn Jamison also had a season high 41 points and 15 rebounds. Jason Kidd nearly managed another triple double putting up 19 points, 13 assists and 8 rebounds also adding 3 steals. Richard Jefferson also added 29 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks and a steal.
