What ever happened to that bball game that was supposed to be released made by the Koreans or something, where it's a role playing multiplayer type thing? I was waiting for that.

That game looks like it could be fun, but I would prefer a gamepad over the keyboard.
Ooh, it's for PC. Bet we could mod the hell out of it. :)

EA needs to do something like that for multiplayer. Allow 10 people to join a server and play 5 on 5.

Just something sorta on-topic.. me and my mate was just playing NBA Live 98 on N64 (Y)

Epic battle... I was Lakers, he was Western All Stars

We turned off rules and basically tried to kill eachother... I was leading the whole time by about 10 but let him get back into it so I was trailing by 1 with 1 min left... So I made a shot with Rick Fox then stole the ball off him (stealing as in charging into his player :D ) and then scored on a dunk on the fastb reak with Shaq... then we both missed shots and I had a shot with Fisher but he missed... then with 3 seconds left, my mate heaves a shot with KG from halfway to force OT...

OT was just lots of trading baskets... so i eventually pulled away and won by 6...

that halfway shot was mad tho... it wouldnt happen in today's Live... just wouldnt feel right

That game's free here. It gets boring quickly though. And I don't think you'd like playing with Filipinos. A lot of the ones playing online games here are rather annoying.

Putang ina mo Null!!! Bakit mo pinasa yung bola sa kasama mo???!!! Ayaw mo bang harapin ako???!!! Isa kang bading!!!!

Just ask Null to translate what I wrote.
That's one of the reasons why it's annoying.

They don't appreciate it that you passed to a teammate for an open shot or you just won over their weakass game with mostly jumpshots for a landslide win.

I really like Freestyle a lot. I used to play it everyday in Korea (where it originated and was free as well). I think it's more realistic than a lot of basketball games. It takes a while to get used to rebounding though, since a lot of people have the timing down much better than the beginners. Of course it is annoying to play with guys who don't know the game of basketball whatsoever, so I usually play with a friend or two that I know.
(I haven't tried the 5 on 5 version that they updated recently.) Also annoying are people who think doing a pick and roll is cheating...
